Worst book you've ever had to read as an assignment

The stupidest book I've had to read for school is "Hoot" so dumb!

 

Life of Pi.

What the hell was that.

 

5 years later and I STILL have no idea what the hell that was. Maybe it wasn't the worst book, but it sure was one I never quite understood.

 

It was called 'Bunnicula'. Grade three. I shall never forget the utter stupidity of a Vampire bunny who sucks vegitables dry and a Dog who's going to narrate it all. *Chick Click* ....*BANG* :dead:​

 

i got halfway through the book and i still didnt like it
i'm not into that kind of genre of books

 

The Boy Who Owned the School is awful.
My reading teacher made us read that a week ago.
It's about a nerdy boy who's in love with this girl, she "perfect", blah, the love each other, the end.
It's mind-numbing!

I'd have to say *looks in book collection* Maniac Magee in fourth grade we had to read it for a grade.....I don't think we ever finished it though....she had us keep the book with us

xDDDD I remember that book! Man, I forgot about that. That really was a stupid book. It was a long time ago, and I have bad memory, but now that you mention it, I remember hating that book too.

 

There were two, one was a book about alcatraz, and it was in the section for third graders....it was sooo not a third grade book, more like an adult book...and the other was one called The Day My Butt Ran Away....god that was ******ed....

 

The girl with no name.

It was about an Aboriginal girl who has no name,this guy decided to go for a walk in this dessert thing, and got lost and he finds this girl. They become friends, i dont remember it much but it was a bad book.

 

The Tempest. .______.

Shakespeare literature makes my mind boggle and fry, I swear...;_;

 

Romeo and Juliet
Sorry Shakespeare fan's but i hate love stories and this one was just pitiful. In the book six hours after they first meet they get married! And then they go kill them selves because the other one is "dead."

 

Cut. It was so bad I started cutting myself.​

yeah, and it's made up of all poems. telling on story, so annoying >.<

 

The Cay by Theodore Taylor

I hated that book! It was really boring, and the guys in my class were making fun of some of the lines in the book (especially "horny hands").

Everyone called it "The Gay".

first of all, the title just screams "redneck"
second, the title's feel continues through the whole book

Hoot also screams "redneck"

We had to get into groups and listen to it on tape.
The person who was reading it was monotone.
