Worst book you've ever had to read as an assignment

    Through out all of my schooling, there were only a few books that I actually didn't enjoy, but only one that I remember. That one is "The Great Gatsby." That is, however, not to say that it is a bad book, if it wasn't, it wouldn't be remembered today. I just didn't like it.

    I quite enjoyed Of Mice and Men. A book that I couldn't bear was Peace like a River. Ugh.

    The history of the Dali Lama (or however u spell it). I kept on falling asleep. I couldn't even get through the first 5 pages >.>
    and I KNOW that i was falling asleep out of boredum.

    The Crucible is a better story to read. <O:p</O:p

    aww i liked that one... it was pretty different and took a lot of thought to analyze and figure out... which is fun for me, but to each his own! :D

    I say for me it's "Of Mice and Men". One of the main characters remind me too much of my brother. I couldn't even finish reading it, it was so upsetting what happened.

    I agree the book is difficult to get into but in my opinion it's an absolute beauty ~

    ...although you have to have a decent concentration span xD

    I will probably get killed for saying this, but... Romeo and Julliet x: I know technically its a play and not a novel as such, but we had to read it for class and its... awful to me xD
