Worst book you've ever had to read as an assignment

Who's seen the movie?? Also I equally hated that book.

 

I started to watch the movie, but either I fell asleep or just got bored. Either way I stopped watching it.

 

Johnny Tremain. *burns book* ​

 

To Kill A Mockingbird. Don't even get me started.

 

Oh gosh, I hated that book! It was so hard to read, so boring. *throws another copy of the book into the fire*

 

Take these books to. *hands over textbooks* Most of the boring books I ever had to read were in those.

Pride and Prejudice -Jane Austen

The name "Miss Bennet" is the same for FOUR characters. =.= Then you get the occasional "Mrs Bennet."

 

The worst book I've ever read would have to be a book called, "Animal Farm."

The chapters were so long and so boring. -.-

 

Thank god I never had to read that. I think I'd have to burn more than just that book.... >_>

 

I think the worst book i've ever read on an assignment was called The Giver i think thats what it was called it was really confusing and weird.

 

It was ok, but was really boring.

 

How can you guys hate The Giver? It was Lois Lowry's best book. It won a Newberry, for Christ's sake.

 

well i don't like it that much. i didn't really see the point in the book

 

It's commentary on where the world is going, what it could become, and seemingly perfect societies can be fundamentally flawed. (Communism, anyone?)

 

I didn't understand the ending of it at all =/

 

Our book for American Literature is filled with terrible stories. So I will will just put it together as the Sophomore American Literature book.
