Best: Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille Zure Macht
Worst: Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island

Now, I never played the original Yoshi's Island, but I played the GBA remake and it drove my nuts. I have a perfection complex where I have to complete eveything in a game, so I had to get perfect scores on all the levels which is IMPOSSIBLE once you get to the bonus level. Ugh... and that STUPID baby is always flying away from me in that blasted bubble crying its head off. ANNOYING.

Best was a hard choice, taking into account all the beloved old-school games like Chrono Trigger, the big series like FF and KH, and the newer hard-to-label-as-best-since-they're-so-new ones like The World Ends With You. So I went with Xenosaga, because, well I'm not really sure why. That game just makes me happy. It's a great semi-old game that I think is often overlooked. :)

 

Can i change my best game? I totally forgot about Psychonauts. I love Psychonauts, it's great. Great gameplay, great storyline, great sense of humour, and great level design.

 

Actually no, but I do own that game and I agree, its garbage :).

I meant a game called just The Land Before Time. It was the most boring game EVER. Annoying as hell overhead view. Levels that were extremely repetitive, and the same levels for all of the characters. I beat the game with all the characters in about 2 hours when I was 5...

But, yes. Psychonauts OWNS.

 

The best video game is Kingdom Hearts. The worst video game is Jack and Daxter. It sucks even "Monkey Balls" (thats a video game) is better. ​

I'm not a major gamer, but I do have my fair share of games. However, I don't have that wide of a variety, so I can't think of any really bad games at the moment...unless you count Barbie games that I played as a younger kid (lol).

Haha, just as long as you don't diss Barbie Secret Agent. ;) No, I think some of the bad ones were Barbie Nail Styler and stuff like that. Soo boring...

Worse: Naruto Clash of Ninja 1. <--Way too easy a storyline, hardly any unlock-ables...

 

Jeez, this is a really hard and a really easy question to ask at the same time.

Personally, I find The World Ends With You and the many Touhou games to be at the top of my list.
TWEWY actually has some of the greatest storytelling that, in my opinion, matches right up to MGS4. Which is a pretty awesome stand point for a game like that. Touhou has, certainly, the greatest bullet hell action I have yet to see in a game quite like this. And Cherry Blossom gives you the true expression of bullet hell genres of video games.

I wouldn't say it was probably the worst, but it was repulsively bad. The game's name rings in my head and makes me sick to my stomach. The terrible PSP version of Tony Hawk's Project 8. Jeez, I remember getting a cramp in my fingers due to the excessive button mashing you must go through just to achieve an awesome score. And to top it all off, this version doesn't have the chest for moon gravity, which so happens to be terribly needed in this game.

Another game would probably have to be the embarassing cross between Dynasty Warrior and Gundam, the bluntly named Dynasty Warriors: Gundam for the Xbox 360. I can't stress enough how much the camera and the controls sucked. That's all I need to say. It may be fun for just a boring Saturday when you are in the need of some button mashing, but on a terrible Sunday or a normal day, this game will frustrate you to the point of throwing it out the window.

Sorry for the long post, just expressing exactly why these games stick out as the most appreciated and the most gut wrenchingly, terrible games in existence.

Worst: Lionheart (I was expecting it to be as good as Fallout, instead it was just terrible)

 

The good: Jak & Daxter series, Ratchet & Clank series, Kingdom Hearts series, Socom: US Navy Seals series PS2 baby.

The bad: Land Before Time PS1 (hahaha)

The (f)ugly: Hour of Victory (XBOX360)

 

mgs was great but the simpsons wrestling really stunk...
