talanb awoke he felt the force of the talisman and suddenly found himslef downstairs "sorry about that well at least now i know it wakes me up if i'm till sleeping here let me show you something press in that part of it and wait for something from me"

 

Celestia smiled at Talanb and nodded.

"I'm sorry if I woke you, I didn't mean to."

She pressed where he showed her to.

 

the message came out of the talisman clearly telling celestia of the destruction of the door and that all the details he would need are definetely going to be in there and it presented celestia with one of my most prized blades the aura of fire

 

Celestia looked at the blade and then at Talanb.

"This must be your sword...... but you will need it. It is so precious. I........thank you."

She looked at him and placed her hand over his.

"I will come with you to the room when you next go if you will permit me this."

She offered him breakfast and wondered how she would ever repay him for his kindness.

 

why thankyou i havent eaten in days that was well needed you have my gratitude and know this if you ever see me in my human form that sword will ensure i cannot do you any harm.Now I am ready to go to the palace whenever you are it is you're choice when and how you wish to go.

"You are welcome to share my food. I will follow you to the palace when you have eaten well and are ready. It is I that owe you so much."

"thankyou for this you see the thing is the only way I get gold is by defending the city when something attacks but nothing has come to destroy our town lately no armies no monsters not even people seeking the great crystal"

he paused "is this tarn meat?" he asked

"It could well be tarn meat. I saw several men struggling with one as I came in yesterday. I think one was injured when it flapped it's wings to try to escape. I have enough gold to support me for a while, and you as well if you don't mind sharing. So you are a mercenary?"

 

"no i am just yhe lone warrior who the town always get to save them when they're too scared. So they actually caugt a tarn? iwould have expected that they would use it for flight"

"I think it was badly injured. It certainly couldn't fly, or it would have escaped. I have a feeling not a lot is wasted around here. You have always been a warrior then? I am surprised that you have not concentrated on your earth powers and studied to be a mage."

ooc: I have read some, but it was a while ago. I must read it again.

"Well I hope that swifty lives up to it's name, as there are some strange creatures around. How come the vampires have become so powerful? I was under the impression the the Ruler hated them. Perhaps we were misled."

 

"yes we could well have been, i expect it was a ploy, come let us see what there is in the "forbidden room" we can talk while we move"

"Lead on and I'll follow." Celestia was curious to learn about this forbidden room. Talanb seemed genuine, and he obviously hated the vampires. He seemed lonely. Celestia had never really been lonely, having spent most of her life with her family or her mage master.

talanb led celestia through the streets since it was safe during this time of the day, they finally arrived at the palace; it shimmered in the sunlight and the jewels added to its immense beauty "we must not be seen after we go through that window" talanb explained pointing unbeleivably high.

"tal warior i have come to inspect the gardens" he said to one of the guards the guards let him through "he comes to!"talanb protested to the guard the guard knew not to anger talanb and so he let celestia through. "follow me" talanb whispered grabbing celestia's hand and leading him round a corner. "the room we need is on the 39th floor do you want to climb or simply go in through the front door ansd sneak there?"

"Well I'm a good climber, and I'm trained in stealth, so I can do both, though I tend to prefer climbing."

Celestia looked up at the tower, she had climbed the great trees as a child, and they made this tower look small. In the heart of the dark wood nature ruled, and the elves respected nature. She wondered if Talanb had ever climbed trees. Only to watch for danger she guessed. He didn't seem to be the kind to have had much fun in his life.

 

"hmmmmm you prefer to climb eh? then climb we shall or we could run up if you want?"

 

"Ok then, a race. Though you are probably better than me." Celestia grinned momentarily before controlling her emotions again. Talanb seemed to be lightening up, and had accepted her fully. She ran ahead, trying not to look back to see where he was.

 

"hm she is skilled perhaps this calls for my specialties" he said and jumped to the 5th floor and started running up the wall " no-one said no jumpinghey wait oh man i fell off" he hit the ground and several armed guards surrounded him but he simply raised his sword of earth and they were dealt with then he began to run up the wall again.

 

"Ok, he's cheating. So can I" Celestia jumped up the side of the wall and began climbing with speed & grace. Talanb may have cheated, but she was brought up climbing. He had a lot to learn.

Celestia was concerned when Talanb fell, but she knew he would be ok.
