"Are you alright? It's ok, I'll order more food. You find somewhere near the fire, the warmth will help you. Did you recognise where I come from?"

Celestia removed the hood, exposing elven features and almond eyes.

"I am sorry I was rude earlier, I don't normally travel much, so have few social graces."

 

it did sound somewhat strangely familiar i think my mother fara spoke of it once she said it was a beautiful place.

 

"Perhaps I should take you there when my task has finished. You have elven blood, so it is possible that your family came from there. Tell me of Corcyrus. It is a great city?"

Celestia wondered if the stranger was in pain after his obviously uncomfortable experience.

 

alas no it was corrupted by hatred and greed my family managed to escape here before it was raided by the river pirate kliomenes of argentum

 

"I've heard that name, you were lucky to escape. So you are an earth elf as well. I am surprised to see you here. I was under the impression that most earth elves rarely leave the elven realms."

 

"i have never seem them I have only dreamt of them from what my mother had told me i despised my father he put this darker self into hoping i would lead him to rule them but i destroyed him for he was a summoner of the darkness some said he came from a different world to destroy this one but i dont think that was true for he could not defend himself in the slightest"

i wondered what celestia's mission truly was perhaps another evil had come to this land and I would have to defend it again but i wonder hmmm the ruler of this land has been showing certain interest into the elvish realm and I have always wondered what exactly is behind that forbidden door?

"you know my mother was captured while we attempted to escape I remember them saying she would make a fine house kajira"

 

"You should join them again, as they are your brothers. I am here to represent the earth elves.We are not so distant that we do not realise that evil walks abroad, and we offer our services to those of light. Your mother is a victim of this evil. Would you require help to rescue her?"

 

"i do not know where she would be she would have been sold at a river port and could be anywhere T.T but if you ever run into trouble around here come find me i'll help ya out but if you're gunna be spying on the ruler then count m,e in i don't trust her and she shows stange interests in the elvish domains and I think she is planning an attack but i am yet unable to get into the forbidden room of the palace after years of deceit and pain"

 

"Thank you. The elvish realms have always been a mystery to outlanders, as we hide from the rest of the world. You have the protection of the council should you ever decide to travel to Laren. I will learn more of this leader, and perhaps if she is as evil as you say, we may link her to your mother's abductors. If this is the case, you will have the support of the earth mages."

 

why thankyou i am honoured at this generous uh generosity and remember if ever you need me you need but just summon me with this small token * gives celstia talisman of pain* you need just beleive in am with you and i will appear there it is something i give only to those i think i should and that i can trust.

just let me tell you this, dont go outside now zeke is out there he is as ruthless as my human side. I will give you information on anything I find and if I finally do manage to break into the forbidden room i would be honoured if you would enter it with me the first time I go in.

Celestia took the talisman and placed it safe in her pouch. She took a small brooch and offered it to Talanb.

"Should you need me, hold the brooch and I will hear you and come to you."

 

thankyou, i will guard this safely and do not worry the talisman does not work when i am overcome by darkness and forced into my human formbut as soon as I break out i am transported immediately.But heed this warning during thetime i had spied on the ruler of this place i have seen she's becming an ally of the vampyric overlords this troubles me deeply.

 

"So it is true, the Vampyric forces gain power. We have heard rumours that the dark ones are rising. I had not realised that they were so close. Is this Zeke one of them? If so they display themselves openly, which means that they have already worked their way into her court."

 

"i am unsure of the origin of zeke I only that they say he killed his mother then killed his father telling anyone his father did it. hmmmmm, do you know what ahn it is? if it is after the 15th ahn i must leave....for now"

 

"It is and I must wish you farewell. I will retire to my room for the night and lock the door. This Zeke does indeed sound like a vampire. Take care Talanb. The evil ones thrive in the dark. I hope to see you again."

 

"yes farewell for now and you will find me here in the morning anyway it's kinda like a secret hideaway for the few who seek the light in this city now to the palace to see if i can gather any more information"

he burst out of the back door and backflipped onto the roof jumping from roof to roof untill he reached his destination the palace

"lets see I have untill the twelth ahn tonight fine lets try that room again" he drew his swift sword and his sword of earth and looked at the almost shattered door to the forbidden room sasumak strike! he shouted smashing his earth sword into the ground countless boulders jutted out of the ground then rose and pelted at the door

he heard the door creaking "hm think my luck's changed" he said replacing the earth sword in it's sheath and held the swift blade in a way that it should be used calmly and efficiently.and attacked for a for 5 enh 70 ihn and the door shattered but he did'nt look inside.

now to spy on our ruler alas he was unable to gather any information before returning to sleep in his room in the inn. "He sent a message via the talismans that celestia would know the if this victory in the morning.

 

Celestia left shortly after Talanb and locked herself in her room. She lay on the bed and took out the talisman, studying it. She thought about Talanb, who had given it to her, and warned her of danger. He was a mystery, both dangerous and charming. He would however always be welcome as far as she was concerned. She had not expected to meet anyone friendly. She believed that he spoke the truth when he said that this was a safe place for those of the light, like herself..

'Take good care Talanb, I will be here to meet you tomorrow' she thought.

She checked the door was locked, and lay down to sleep, but it did not come. She sat up and meditated, entering a resting trance, neither asleep nor fully awake. It seemed that the talisman was some form of communication item, like the brooch. She hoped so.

 

talanb lay unrest he never was able to rest he could'nt ever findm inner-peace and he was'nt much of a meditation guy either since he never could master its art he knew something was going to happen he just hoped the crystal would'nt be brung into his affairs...again.

 

The night seemed to pass peacefully for Celestia. She roused from her meditation and checked everything was ok. She went downstairs and sat by the hearth. She was surprised to see the staff already up and working.

Celestia ordered breakfast and looked at the near empty room. It looked so much different in the cold light of morning. She looked around for Talanb.,but he wasn't there. She took the talisman and clutched it in her hand. She remembered him saying that it didn't work in his dark human form. She was worried.
