I don't like it. I mean I know what they were trying to do, making Wonder Woman a little more believable as a warrior... along with modernizing it. But the thing is Wonder Womans look was one of my favorites ;_; Not to mention she is called Wonder WOMAN not Wonder Teenager.

Then again with the new look, she is also getting a revamp.

Of course all of this is my opinion.

Please place in the right section if it is not in its proper place. Thank you.

Really? It's not that bad but i'm not sure if they would change the outfit of such a classic superhero.

Maybe it's for one of those parallel universe side stories?

From what I hear I think it is an official look. The look itself is not at all bad, really. But she just looks really young in my eyes.

This is why i wonder. She seems similar to a Wonder Girl or something that appears in Teen Titans.

The design seems more like this age, then wearing a bathing suit in public.
I always thought her outfit provoked what the designer thought in his pants, but hey; that's my opinion.

Nice to see her covered up.

Which pretty much means that as soon as that part of the story is done she will get her normal outfit back.

Kinda looks like she's about to join the Avengers. DC stealin' from them Marvels again.
Either way, it's not bad, all they did was change her to more "NOW I HAVE NO FEAR OF FLYING WITH MEN LOOKING UP MY SKIRT" appearance.
Her feet are pretty shitty looking though xD

That looks like a Teen Titan, not the real Wonder Woman I grew up with.

It's not that bad. I don't mind it. I liked Wonder Woman's other outfit better. but this one isn't horrible. Why should she have to wear the same thing every day anyways? 8D

Her 'classic' outfit didn't include a skirt.

Anyway, I do quite like the design; it's much more modern and it's interesting. That being said, nothing can ever replace the classic outfit that we all know and love her in, and I doubt that they would attempt to. Probably just a temporary change for some story arc, as Mr. Brightside brought up.

I like it, it makes her look more powerful and modern. Though I'll get rid of the blue jacket though, it makes her new style look like she's more of a teenager than a mature woman. With just the pants and the red covering, she'll probably look more like a lady rather than a young girl. It makes her look powerful and right for today's generation, but her original uniform even though it may be "outdated" it made her look mature, like a actual woman.

Yeah, that is probably the thing that irks me the most (besides that she looks young, which may be because of the coat). She reminds me way to much of the Black Canary with the coat and the choker.

Yup, starts with Wonder Woman #600. Or #601, I can't remember which.

Either way, while I like the costume, I think it fits more for a younger new character than an established mature character like Wonder Woman. However, that's not my main gripe.

They are more or less completely rebooting her because they want new readers. Well, as someone who was actually considering picking up Wonder Woman at the beginning of her next story, this news made me change my mind.

The fact that this writer also wrote One More Day doesn't help matters much, but I seriously cannot figure out the logic of throwing out Wonder Woman's rich history for the sake of what will probably be a futile attempt at bringing in new readers. Not to mention that potential readers that are familiar with the DCAU will already know Wonder Woman from the Justice League series, so they'll see this new design and likely not recognize her as Wonder Woman.

From what I can tell, its very rare for a writer to fully understand Wonder Woman and will constantly flip flop her between the man hating straw feminist, completely ignoring her character development and an elitist, but heroic woman who knows she is loved by the people, completely ignoring that she considered WORKING AT TACO BELL to be as noble a pursuit as any. Wonder Woman is supposed to be a strong, but humble woman and she is, frankly, the ultimate feminist icon. From the looks of things, we may have a NEW type of misunderstanding.

EDIT: Also, come to think of it, with her new "gauntlets", she leaves a "W" mark when she punches someone. Two questions: First, how? There are no W's on the her fists, only on her wrists. Second, why? Again, that seems like something a new, younger hero would have, not one of DC's most mature heroes.

EDIT2: Come to think of it again, how is this going to fit in with the rest of the DCU? I mean, I know that its not going to be part of Brightest Day, but what about the rest of the Justice League?

I understand the fact that 60 years of continuity can be pretty off putting, but with today's technology, its a google search away from getting the essential information. Changing a character's history is absolutely pointless.

For newer readers, I can accept this. In my own opinion, DC does not age well... since a good number of DC characters were made just as a nationalist/Feminist figure for WW2 (Wonder Woman being one of them)and m ost of the other characters are seen by todays readers as 'lame' (Aquaman,Captain Atom) Of course Batman is an exception.

Now I am not being all like "lol Marvel is better" But Marvel's characters and comics age alot more better than DC. Marvel also has its little nationalist figures (Captain America) But Marvel has Spiderman 'A boy with spider powers in modern New York" and they also have X-men, Iron Man, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Daredevil and all that stuff.

DC appeals to a more older audience as Marvel is directed toward a young and modern audience.

    This^

I know a very decent amount about comics (mostly marvel though, but a good bit of DC) and I've never picked up a single comic.
I always thought the class WW outfit was...well, as Dave Chapelle put it (or was it Chris Rock?) "hookerish"
but it worked. I mean, if I remember correctly, one of the six things given to Diana when she was molded was beauty. If a goddess gives you beauty, you are gonna have a banging body.
That said, I didn't mind it so much. I'd welcome a new outfit, but not something like this. Just minor changes. I don't understand the whole "W Punch" thing either. Hopefuly she'll pull a Wolverine and switch costumes again soon.

To the people who complain about her, looking too young, in this arc she is 20 years old because someone (again) messed with the past and changed everything. Now Diana has some sort of amnesia and tries to figure out what the hell is going on. Read the interview.

Anyway a bit off topic but since people discuss this: I find DC more interesting than Marvel nowadays, although i'm not sure why. As a kid/teenager i used to love Marvel heroes but now they all look way too depressing. I like both companies don't get me wrong, but now i lean towards DC more than marvel.
