Of course it would be possible to complete the game without cure. Many deaths would result but just remember, the continue button is your friend.

Well, if you're good at no-damage bosses, or no how to go about it only getting hit a few times, then it wouldn't be hard at all. I can't see it being terribly hard in KHII. KH 1, however....I'm replaying it right now, and without Cure, I'd be dead a couple time over. Even while summoning tink.

Now that I'm actually playing KH2, I realized that I haven't used any magic (including cure) at all (unless you count donald).

People might say it's impossible in KH1, but I'd think it's harder in KH2.

    Here's the reason:

In KH1, you can play the entire game without taking any damage whatsoever. This is done by:

    1. Staying out of fights
    2. Knowing how your enemy is going to attack and either blocking or dodging it

KH1 is all about patterns. If you know the patterns well enough, you can defend against all the attacks and go through the game without getting hit once.

Not that this is even close to being easy, but on small enemies, you wouldn't need to heal using Cure very often, just Potions...And then, on bosses, perhaps Hi-Potions would be necessary at times.

On KH2, it would be harder, but then again, that reload system makes you wait to use Cure anyhow, so I end up using Potions a lot more than normal.

Both games wouldn't be too horrible, I suspect. I'll try it and let you know, JK.

It depends on what kind of player are you. If you are a very expirience KH player, then you shouln't have any problem. But, if you aren't, then bow down to CURE!

Possible if you're able to memorize the enemies' movements and also you must have quite a bit of def ups so that monsters will only deal a little damage to you.

I think it'd be possible. Just instead of using the spell, you load people up with potions and all, and yourself. If the hardest bosses can be defeated that way, I don't see why the rest of the game can't be approached the same. The secret bosses would be more difficult but all of them have a pattern so if you sat through it, you could even beat them. It makes the game more of a challenge but I can say I didn't just always use the Cure spell for boss fights etc so I'd surmise it could be done.

The only other thing you could do is by a TON of Hi-Potions.

You know, the next time I restart KHII I'm gonna try this. Just removing cure from the shortcut should be enough. Though I guess leveling up a lot is a must, I'm not the most experienced RPG gamer. Didn't even know levels were importaint until FFXII. *shrugs*

But yes, I fully believe it can be done.

Now on KH1, my mom deosn't even know how to use cure, so I really hope it's possible or she's toast.

Yeah she wanted to see what my friends and I were so excited about... She decided it's awesome! The only problem is now she'll know what my friends and I are talking about... so I can't confuse her anymore lol

So.. back on topic, I'm going to start the game over, without using cure at all. Now the bigger question: Can you beat Sephiroth without cure?

Beat an enemy, run like heck to a save point. That is what I would do.
