I think Star Wars 3 and Terminator 3 both had endings that were depressing but I'd say that Star Wars 3 and Terminator 3 equaled in the sadness of their endings for me.

Witch one had the sadder ending to you?

I'd say Revenge of the Sith, despite Terminator ending in the destruction of most of the world. You weren't as emotionally attached to the people dying there, but quite a few characters people liked in RotS met their end in it, or had something else bad happen to them. Pretty much the entire latter half of RotS is sad or depressing, with the fall of Anakin and the mass-murder of the Jedi Order, and Obi-Wan and Yoda forced to exile. And I wasn't expecting to see Padme die, since Princess Leia had said that she could remember her. (She apparently has a bloody good memory T_T)

I don't see anything sad in Terminator 3. The world ending? Why be sad if everyones dead? XD

So yea, revenge of the sith had a sadder ending. It was the MOST ancipitated episode of the Star Wars series. And poor Padme died D=

Terminator 3. Although with both movies, you kinda know what happens anyways. Padame dying...it didn't have any effect on me. "Arnold" dying again made me sad. Dx STOP DYING ALREADY! D8< Anakin killing younglings wasn't sad. >> Just evil and badass at the same time. *Shrugs*
