Sometime in October, my computer started being unable to boot Windows. I can only use safe mode, which has incabilities that bug me, i.e. no sound. I've tried all the options I could find, but none of them have worked. No Last Good Configuration, System Restore, etc. Most of the options I've found need a Windows XP disc, which I don't have.-_-; Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to fix it?

You could always download a version, but it's best to buy the software.

reinstall windows, if your using vista its a common bug that you get from not properly shutting down the computer.

I'm sure my parents would only do that as a last resort.
I can't reinstall it. I only have the data that was already on the computer when it was bought.

Buying Windows XP seems to be your one and only legal option to repairing it. I wont talk about illegal though. Anyways, another thing is to go the free way and get Linux Ubuntu or any other distro of Linux.
