Windows Movie Maker help

I'm making my first AMV and I have all the video clips and stuff ready along with the music; however, the music plays ALONG WITH the sounds on the video clips. How can I mute the sounds on the video clips so that only the music plays?

 

I don't know if this is just mine, but you need to go into timeline mode and then right click on the box below where you see some of the clip (between the picture and music track line)

when you right click click on mute

Yeah I understand most of it but how to get the audio settings fixed right had been confusing me for the longest time.
