358/2 Days Will they go to Castle Oblivion

Mention it would most likely happen, dunno with the visiting though... it could be possible.

actually it really isnt...it is from Soras story...but it really has nothing to do with Roxas...

but isnt Soras Pod in the Castle?

or in the Mansion...or are the Mansion and Castle really the same place??!

The mansion and Castle Oblivion are not the same places. Namine puts Sora in the capsule in Castle Oblivion. Sometime after that, DiZ and Riku moved Sora and friends to the mansion at Twilight Town so that they would hide out away from the Organization. Had they stayed at Castle Oblivion, the Org surely would have found them and disrupted what they were doing. Namine followed to aid Sora.

As for will they go to Castle Oblivion... I believe that while Roxas himself may not, some interaction with Castle Oblivion is likely to happen. I do not know that for sure though. Anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's at this point.

 

I agree, although I don't think we will go to Castle Oblivion in story mode maybe we could have a mission in Castle Oblivion in the multi-player mode. After all it has already been stated that the multi-player mode will be treated as an alternate world so there should be no problem with going to Castle Oblivion there.

 

An unlikely possibility, but it would be pretty cool...

They may, at the least, state something about Castle Oblivion. I don't see how it would be in the plot, though.

Unless they were to explore the place, or something similar.

 

They might go visit it, because its their home, innit? I don't see us being able to explore it, but in the beginnning, or whatever ending they have, they might show it.

 

Actually, their "home" is technically The World That Never Was.

 

I'm confused... Nomura says that 358/2 days is gonna be during the time Sora was asleep, but Sora became a Heartless before that and in the trailer, when Xion is introduced, EVERY SINGLE member of the Organization was there. Can somebody explain that to me? @_@

 

Actually the game takes place sometime after KH1, all through CoM, and the one year that Sora sleeps.

I'm pretty sure Castle Oblivion will be brought up once or twice. However, I don't think it's very likely you'll be able to actually visit it. But it will almost certainly be at least mentioned, since the game does start before CoM. When Xion was being introduced, every Organization member was there, so it's not possible for that scene to be after or even during CoM.

 

Yes Roxas wanted to meet Sora, but Roxas only becomes interested in Sora after Xigbar taunted Roxas by calling him Sora. Roxas only new that there was another keyblade bearer during the events of Castle Oblivion. It was in the meeting after Castle Oblivion that Roxas heard first heard the name Sora and started to wonder why it sounded so familiar.
