It would make sense to have the system called something else but I am not to ecstatic about "Accomplishments". I could imagine another word used, but this is just a rumor and no more. It seems to be accurate though.
i like it! ive always liked the idea of rewards for achieving a certain objective in the game since the 360 introduced it. it would be even more cool if a console would give you, for example, if the xbox 720 (or whatever it's going to be called) would give you microsoft points for the more achievements you earn. Or something along the lines you can get 'points' to purchase in-game bonuses for your game. Probably just wishful thinking though. With the way game companies are nowadays with day one DLC they dont wanna give us a cent :/
It's kind of an expectation at this point to have these rewards in game. I'm not surprised Nintendo caved.
I was also a fan of that. Those themes are seriously great. Anyway, I'm not really surprised that they rolled out this reward system. Like Rain said earlier, it's pretty much expected at this point. I wish they would have called them something else, though. 'Accomplishments' doesn't really roll off the tongue so well.
