Here's some pretty interesting news, which I personally like. According to this, the Wii U is expected to be better than the Xbox 350.
The Wii U will be singleplayer only. That alone makes it inferior to any other console, including the original PlayStation. You can't make a console without multiplayer functionality, it's just ******ed!
Well this gets my vote for dumbest comment of the week. While, for some odd reason, it only allows the use of one Wii U controller, it can do local multiplayer by using Wii remotes (and classic controllers, I'd imagine) and it is more than capable of online multiplayer (and, considering the 3DS's surprisingly good online system, should be capable of good online). That said, the Wii U being more powerful than the 360 (and PS3 for that matter) should be a given since the 360 was released in 2005 and the PS3 in 2006. Both consoles are several years old at this point and the Wii U should be on par with relatively powerful gaming PCs, some of which are considerably more powerful than the 360 and PS3.
I think what Noroz is trying to say is that with the inclusion of only one WU controller per console, won't the person with the WU controller and not the old Wiimotes, have an advantage, more fun, etc over other people playing with them? I kind of agree in theory, but I don't know what may happen in practice. I mean If I want to play a game with my friends, I don't want to play with the 6 year old controller of the past console, I want to play with the new and improved controller with a screen on it.
That is correct. What I think it might lead to is that friends, who both play the Wii and get the WiiU will, instead of playing together in the same house, stay at home, playing each others Wii U
