Well, I've got GH: WT, RB: 1 and 2, Mario Party 8, Mario Kart Wii, and Fire Emblem for now. Not sure how interested you'd be in those...the Mario games are the only ones my brother and mom will play with me.

M&M Go-karting is fun, and so is Wii Play. Wii Sports is entertaining too.

Games you neeeeed on your Wii:

    1. Super Mario Galaxy- One of the great platformers ever created. the game is easy and a bit shot but fun as hell and for a completionist, their is alot to do.
    2. Metroid Prime 3- This is easily the greatest shooter of 07. It perfectly blended story and nostalgia with great action packed FPS gameplay mixed with great puzzles and platforming to go with the best graphics on Wii.
    3. No More Heroes- This game is one of my favorite games of all time. It is full of creativity and humor mixed with great hack n slash gameplay. The only problem is that it is a tad repetitive. Seeing as you bought Mario and Sonic at the Olympics you should have no problem with that though.
    4. Okami- It's great that all gamers have come to the where now all we need to do is just say 'Okami.' No defensive statement needs to be made, no one disagrees, it truly is a great game.
    5. World of Goo- It is World of FECKING Goo. It is addictive, fun, looks great, 2D, and is only $20.
    6. The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess- Whilst the same type of game as Okami, it is much more serious and a classic for a reason. It is challenging, looks great, uses Wii controls awesomely, and is just plain fun.
    7. Madworld- ....Ever see the movie Sin City? Play a GTA? Combine those two together for one of the most fantastic games ever. Made by the people who made Okami, the game is violent, hilarious, and addictive and damn near one of the best exclusives the Wii may ever see that ISN'T made by Nintendo.

Those are my personal favorites but you can easily throw in: Wario Land: Shake It, Mario Kart, de BLOB, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Super Paper Mario, Mushroom Men, Zack and Wiki, House of the Dead: Overkill, and Fire Emblem however they aren't as godly as those above seven are.

..And now to those that say Wii doesn't have any great hardcore games.... SUCK IT. The Wii's issue is not that it denies hardcore gamers, it's that it advertises too much to the casual gamers (not unlike the N64) and doesn't have any great cross-platform games like CoD4 or Fallout 3. But saying hardcore games aren't their is just ignorant. Hell this year we already have 4: Sin and Punishment 2, The Conduit, , Pikmin 3, and the mysterious fourth game we'll see at E3 that is probably just Pikmin >>

You must get Mario Kart Wii : D
Oh oh and also get Super Smash Bros. Brawl, that'll keep you entertained for quite a while.
    Twilight Princess, it's a really in-depth game.

What he said. Though I have heard opinions that the Wii versions of Call of Duty 3 and CoD: World at War are better than their better looking PS3/360/PC counterparts.

it is by far the most detailed of the zelda games yet, and if you want another one that is N64 that you can get via virtual console, download legend of zelda: ocarina of time thats a classic

Hell no. Do not get this game for the wii. The only reason that the wii version is acceptable is the multiplayer aspect that basically turns into you and your opponent madly flailing at each other. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the biggest star wars nerds out htere, but I was so disapointed with the Wii version. But that is just my 2 cents.

Essentials for the wii are obviously Mario Galaxy, Metroid, Zelda and Brawl. If you look outside the big N, then RE4, Umbrella Chronicles maybe Trauma Center. If you use it for more of a group system, then i'd add Mario Party 8, Guitar Hero / Rock Band to the mix.

well, from playing some of the PS3 version and actually owning the Wii version, i heard that there is the same basic storyline except the Wii's stages have been drastically changed in layout and stuff. but i'm a pretty big sucker for motion control with the Wii Remote, as long as it's not done half assed (by that i mean having no correlation with the action done in game) i like motion control. but the graphics DO take a huge hit going from PS3 to Wii unfortunately. i also don't like the fact that they removed the difficulty setting on the Wii because i found that the game is too damn hard from start to finsh. but i heard there were stages and cutscenes that are exclusive to the Wii version.

anyways, i have never watched a Star Wars movie or played a Star Wars game, but i found the experience to throughly enjoyable. so sue me, lol.

that's ok, you're allowed to have an opinion :)

How can you have a Wii and not own Super Smash Bros. Brawl?!

I can't stand playing anything after a while besides that game.

Enough about me, I think Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Prime 3: Corruption, Tales of Symphonia 2, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn or Path of Radiance are others that I'd highly recommend.

Call of Duty World at War is also a pretty gd one, though I wouldn't suggest this if you have a decent PC or an Xbox360 or PS3. Also, AVOID Star Wars: Force Unleashed on the Wii. It's a great game but you'll never get the best of it on the Wii.
