Birth by Sleep Why Ven looks like Roxas *MAJOR SPOILERS!*

ok...so i think it get where you all are coming from, so...

BBS-

Ven's heart fuses with Sora why?, not sure

KH1- sora has 2 hearts and get a third...Kairis (would that make him explode?)
sora uses the evil keyblade to remove his heart(s) and thus both Ven and Kairis are too freed... Sora turns into a heartless...

KH2-
Roxas and all that crap happens

You forget the simplest details. Yes, the Nobodies may change a few things while transitioning to a Nobody, such as hair style, eye colour, etc. However, I have never in my life seen a Nobody who not only looks nothing like the somebody, but is even a different gender. Is that really plausible?

You also forget the fact that "Roxas" is an anagram of "Sora" with an "X", if that really counts for anything.

 

by that same logic i could say this:
A)Aqua is a keyblade master
B)So is Roxas
C)Xion has been on Destiny Island
D)Namine's somebody (Kairi) Lives on Destiny Island
E)Xion and Kairi look similiar
the spoiler? Oh Em Gee! Roxas, Xion, and Namine are siblings and Aqua is their mom!!!!

and btw Ven, Terra, and Aqua aren't keyblade masters, they're keyblade's aren't REAL keyblades, since they have no keychains, right?

When Mickey first saw Xemnas he knew immediately that he was the Nobody of Xehanort. Nobodies bear resemblance to their Somebodys

 

...but maybe...Roxas was thought to be Soras nobody...but they then figured out Xion after Roxas was in the Org....

and weve never seen a nobody with a different gender...but then again weve only seen the pairs of people (ie Sora and Roxas) twice...so dont count it out

 

Nobodies are comprised of soul and body of the somebody. That essentially means that appearance changes are indirect effects of the lack of heart. If there was a gender change, that would mean the somebody had either an extremely feminine soul or body, offset by a masculine heart. Sora's heart is NOT overly masculine.

And Xion doesn't look much like Sora, nor does she have a resembling personality, and Xigbar implied Roxas was Sora's nobody and I totally trust Xigbar.


The main problem is that it assumes everyone who you don't see got owned by heartless. Unbirths might not neccesarily seek your heart. They could like, just kill you. Also, this would deprive unbirths of being important in any way to the plot, which I doubt Nomura would do.

 

..but does Namine or Roxas really look that close to there real selfs?

i dont think so, may be some times they look the same but i dont think it really matters

I have a theory about that but since its just a theory and not fact, i'm not using it as proof lol

Complete Chain

I have been thinking about it for a while and here is a theory that I have come up with. I don't remember evey detail about the series so I'm seeking any information to work with.

I think the chain goes like this.

Sora = Heart Roxas = Body Ven = Spirit

I think the reason Roxas looks like Ven is because the body without the heart bases its appearance on the soul. I believe that soul is Ven. I think Ven is the spirit of Sora and Roxas when they are both dormant or asleep. Ven was somehow able to return to the past and that is the reason why his identity is so hidden. The only thing that I am thinking of right now that contradicts this the appearance of Sora and Riku on destiny island, and the conversation with Terra and Master Xehanort about Ven's Heart. There's also something about Ven loosing something, but I can't guess what that is. Though its probably the heart. There is another theory about Ven being an Unbirth and in order to be born he has to be erased first. In either case I think this would complete a chain for the three.

 

Honestly. If Ven is Sora's "unbirth," then that would mean O-M-G people split into THREE in this game, not two, but three.

I think (and stone me if this stupid) that Ven IS Roxas. How? I'm guessing time travel. Perhaps. If they have no relation yet they have connection, then this is either Roxas himself or some version of him. Picture it: Roxas gets whisked away from Sora and off into the past. Perhaps his memory was erased. Perhaps he had to take up an alias for paradox reasons.

Really, if the resemblence is something stupid, I'm going to annoyed. Or he could be Sora's brother. But WHY the HELL would his Nobody look like his older brother? Genetics?

 

Xehanort and Xemnas were regular somebody/nobody, and they look somewhat different, though perhaps not as different as Namine and Roxas.

 

now that i think back you remember in kh2 were everyone was saying that roxas looks like him. and instead of saying sora's name they just say him.what if they were talking about ven instead of sora. and riku either met ven during the time between castle oblivion to kh2 or he inherited xehan's heartlesses memory

Somehow it seems to me like that would ruin the game. No mention of family in the whole series except maybe 30 seconds in the first game, Roxas being a completely original and awesome character just to turn out to be Sora's Brother's twin would ruin it for me

I actually agree with this tho. But the scene where Xemnas tells Roxas "i've been to see him, he looks just like you" at the dark beach happens right after Xemnas visits Sora in KH1:FM+
but that helps YOUR case (those supporting the Ven=Sora's Brother theory) because that scene was confirmed not to be real, more like a dream.
but the only people that could know Ven would probably be the founding 6 members of the Organization XIII (6 apprentices) but the rest of the Org said the same thing.

 

I think that Ven is Sora's Unbirth (not exactly sure what that is, but it's something in BBS). Maybe, by being born, Ven passes on the title of Keyblade Warrior on to his "birth self" (Sora). Then, when Sora becomes a heartless, he creates Roxas. That's my two cents.

 

Knowing Square-Enix... The possibility that Ven is somehow linked with Sora is high, and the possibility that Roxas is a reflect of Ven is even higher, your plot is cool, altho I don't like the idea of Ven as a Sora's bro.

I heard that Tetsuya dismissed the idea of any characters being related to the main characters (Sora/Riku/Kairi). So I don't think your theory is correct, besides wouldn't Ven of been mentioned by now if he was his brother?

 

sorry to rain on Ur parade but Ven and Aqua are not "real" keyblade masters...They don't even have a keyblade....the most likely person to be a keyblade master is terra and that bald guy(Master Xehanort)

The older brother thing sounds err...cheesy....it doesn't sound like KH...though it could be great for other plots...

ok I'm starting a theory...think....what if Ven IS Sora...now "Birth by sleep" Ven dies(sleep) and Sora is born (birth) a keyblade master or IDK his true heart is born...Xion was born in a "room"...Final Mix..Aqua armor? Xion and Aqua are connected somehow....(Coded) Free them from their torment...who's torment? Terra?Ven?Aqua? All three of them? See? we have to connect them somehow and everything will become easier to understand....in other words...Nomura is a freakin genious!!!!!!
