I like delving deep into the spam zone sometimes and when I find a thread I posted in from 2007 I have to go read it so I can feel good that I'm not that exact same n00b. : D

The way I see it, it's like how in real life when you're talking with friends, you can revisit stuff about politics, movies, games, etc. but necrobumping in the Spam Zone would kinda like you going, "Hey, remember that time two years ago I told you a joke based on L[DOUBLEPOST=1350267391][/DOUBLEPOST]olcats?"

 

The old threads exist so that when a new member asks a question, instead of typing out a huge response, the older members can copy and paste the link to the old thread, giving new member access to all of the info he/she needs with minimal effort on the part of the old members.
