My point exactly. If the hoods are up, then lesser Nobodies can't track you unless you're targeted by a higher ranking Nobodies. Mickey's obvious because his ears can't be hidden with the hood. That means that Mickey's only a target if he's spotted, but lesser Nobodies can't initially sense him.

 

I'm thinking its like when your hood is up, lesser nobodies are too respectful to look you in the eye.

They see that treanch coat... and respect the figure blindly... regardless of who's wearing it.

Mickey is something else... since he obviosly looks nothing like the Org members.

Also... black thrench coats with hoods do hide your persona to regular humans not just nobodies.

I mean, can you tell an Org member whos hooded just by looking at them? I mean, Larxene is something else, but Axel does have a similar shap to her.

If Roxas was a little taller, he would blend right in. Even the high def Roxas you cannot tell what he looks like... as with the high def Xemnas.

Yeah... well, actually you can tell Axel by his hips... but shoulders work too. I am hardcore like that.

I was just saying... if you put them all in a lineup, no one could tell one from another...

 

It's the way their posture is. If you watched one of the Final Mix cutscenes with the Organization meetings while their hoods are up, you could probably tell who's who just by the way they sit or their speech.

 

Definatly true... they all have so much personality it bleeds through thier trench coats.

Every time I see that scene where half the organization is standing there in Hollow Bastion I pause it and point out to everyone in the room exactly who is who.

When I first watched those scenes I saw Demyx swinging his feet and I thought "OMG I do that all the time when I'm bored? Lol won't it be funny if that's Demyx?" And then he said something about being the wrong guy or something like that (it's been a while) and I realized I was right...​

 

Maybe its because the dusk aren't intelligent enough to tell who's who in the cloak

Remember the 1st day where the pictures of Roxas where stolen by the dusk instead of the real Roxas.

They couldn't tell which is the real Roxas if Roxas never chased it.

 

But DiZ implied that was because it was all data. They only saw data in that realm.

 

maybe you get one when you travel in the dark realm

 

When you travel through the dark realm you would make an appearance wearing those cloaks.

Someone already said this, but if you look at how the hoods are worn, then it is easy to tell. Take a good look at all of the orginization members and how their hoods are, and it'll become pretty easy....

 

i look at their sleeve size and their shoulders and the way they stand, they all have a unique aura about them....w/e lol

 

The smell thing discussed a while back. I think that the "smell" Riku and such use is different to a proper Pluto smell. I think their "Smell" was an identity checker type smell. One that detects them. It could be changed for "Sense" if need be.

As for the nobody smell thing and being repelled by the cloaks. I think the cloaks stop them automatically finding you using darkness. Sort of like being off the radar in an aeroplane. You can still be seen, but you cannot be detected via radar. This made finding Roxas very difficult, as Axel said. It explains why the nobodies were attacking Roxas and Riku too.

 

Ansem (as DiZ) stated why the Nobodies used the cloaks when King Mickey and he gave Riku the cloak at the end of CoM. It was to hide their identities, sure, though as others said, you could tell each of the Nobodies' identities upon seeing them if you could identify the person's cloak and also physical physique. The real reason was to protect them from Darkness because they entered it constantly and to veil them when you didn't see them up front. Even the Nobodies were not invulnerable to Darkness utterly and things may have come to attack them.

As for Riku and Zexion's smell thing, that was by using Darkness. Zexion could smell Riku and identify that he smelled like the Superior because he was scenting the Darkness within Riku. Riku used Darkness to 'smell' Zexion who was in his vicinity and using illusions to confuse him and he was in Riku's vicinity. Riku had to use a lot of Dark Portals to get around etc. It wasn't like you could not identify the Nobodies if they are there right in front of you if you knew who each were. However, the cloaks of course also add that sense of mystery. All of the Nobodies, if you check the lesser ones out, had zippers and were in sorts of suits too if you think about it. Because the higher Nobodies actually had forms that were like their former ones, wearing the cloaks was their protection.

 

Whoa. Thanks alot. I just thought they needed new things to go around in to be disguised as. No wonder Riku keeps his heart when he turns to Ansem.
or is that...a different matter?
