Chain of Memories Why Riku and Mickey wear the cloaks.

There are still people out there that wonder why Riku and Mickey wear the Organization's cloaks. Just wanted to post the answer here:

That's the answer. The Organization, Riku and Mickey all wear the cloaks as not to be swallowed up by the darkness (i.e. attacked by other Nobodies). And even if this is old news, this is for those who still wonder about it...

Good to know... its similar to what I said, in that it allows them to dark portal. Because with the dark cloack, they can walk through the realm of darkness without being harmed, dark portals go through the realm of darkness.

It also explains why Mickey said he wore his cloak because he was in hiding from the Organization.

 

Thanks for looking that up and getting the real quote for it. I knew the answer for it but this does put it out there clearly so that people don't have to continue wondering. =:)

roxas was chased after nobodies while in a black coat.

 

Riku ordered the Heartless to attack him. He had the powerof Darkness at that time, remember?

The heartless, not the nobodies. Plus, the heartless were attacking Riku too.

 

Maybe because he didn't have his hood on, and they could see who it was? I don't know, thats not a theory, just an easy guess.

 

That's what I believe too. The Dusks chased after Roxas when he was escaping because his hood was down. That's why the Org always have their hoods up all the time...

...that and it's easier to animate. :p

 

So thats what I'm going on. What about scent? His shampoo smell is being released from it's bounded hood.

 

Maybe some of the nobodies get so f'ed up on the scent that they move silly,like in the game.

just look at the dusks man! xD

 

That explains why they where the cloaks for a lot of KHII.

 

I've already known this, and why they were the cloaks, so that isn't my question. The question I'm going to ask is:

How did Mickey and Riku get it? In fact, where the hell do these cloaks come from anyway to fit everyone in perfect size? o.O Xemnas sews them?

 

The vid link that I provided shows that Diz gave them to Riku and Mickey. As for how they fit...maybe Mickey washed it until it shrunk? :huh:

 

Lol. Maybe Mickey used a bit of magic there.

Still, where did Diz get them? Does the Org. has like a closet full of them or something? xP And since Riku grew in KH2, how did they refit it to his new size, or did Diz gave him another one?

And I'm just pointing out things that don't makes sense in a game. I'll stop -_-. Though the mystery might be solved in 358/2 Days (Roxas gets his cloak).

 

Maybe the Org can use darkness as a fabric and create clothing out of them. Of course, that would contradict the whole Diz saying that the Org can't control the darkness...

As for Riku, maybe the cloak automatically changed with him when he transformed...

Why cloaks you ask? They are not >:O But instead, they are Hoodies. They are just clothes, and I could imagine Ansem sewing. And Ansem said the ears could be a problem, so yeah, he made one special for Mickey.

 

I would laugh so hard if there is an actual cutscene with Xemnas in the corner on a sewing machine...

Or better yet he buys them from a cosplayer...

Ok, in all seriousness... DiZ said the cloaks were made of nothingness, so its not a stretch to assume its made of magic, and it magically adjust to the size of its user. I mean, if it could fool a nobody into thinking Mickey is an Organization XIII member... it could do anything!
