    Meant the new one. It's kinda like a black sheep.

    And it's funny that they added it, then made the stage good, or at least better than the Sonic 06 version.

    No, it was supposed to be a celebration of the fifteenth anniversary. That was the point from the start. MICROSOFT pressured Sega, but it was planned to be released within the year anyways. Extra development time would NOT have saved this game. Even without the glitches, it still has terrible writing, terrible design philosophy, and bad graphics
    You can't just blame something as thoroughly terrible as Sonic 06 on one party.

    It was retconned from existence at the very end, but it WAS intended to be a reboot of the franchise. That's why there are things like the blue chaos emerald being with Elise. On similar note, Shadow the Hedgehog was intended to spin off into its own series if received well.
