I don't know. People who stream regularly to me seem like they think they're more popular than they are. I really don't care about watching you play a game or what you think about it, for the most part. The rare times I watch a stream is if I'm stuck and can't figure out something (which I would only watch someone's video if walkthroughs didn't help and they do 99.99% of the time) or if it has an actual point besides "WATCH ME PLAY THIS GAME AND LISTEN TO ME," like something cool I didn't know about or something hilarious like Super Mario Frustration.

An actual live stream, I can't think of any reason I would honestly watch one unless it was someone I know and it was a game I was interested in, but didn't feel like buying myself.

entertaining commentators. That's the main draw for most streams, I just don't watch em because my internet's not stable enough. that's why I like people who save their vods

It's just my personal preference, but it isn't really entertaining to me. Maybe it's because I never gave it much of a shot or I'm not enough of a gamer, but it seems like a fad that just doesn't appeal to me.

Well I'd agree it's a fad in so much as everyone thinking they can do it, but I doubt it'll disappear or anything. There's a market for it. But yeah, taste is taste, and not being much of a gamer is probably a pretty big factor in whether it appeals to you

It's pretty sad honestly. One of the most popular TERA streamers is a guy that uses a voice changer, people are dumb enough to believe he's a girl and his channel gets a scary amount of donations.
