Okay, my friends like Death Note, so I tried to watch it, and got kind of bored. But I'm pretty sure it was either since I watched 1 minute of it, and that I wasn't in the mood. Just wondering, why is it so good? People keep saying it is, ex. KHV F. So help me? Gimme good reasons to watch it. Is it mystery? say yes and i'll obviously watch.
I personally like it because it's not like a 'kiddy anime'. There's a great storyline as well as very detailed characteristics for each character. The whole idea of writing someone's name down in a book and they die kind of got me there. It's also well thought out. The pilot episode isn't good until the end.
Yep, I knew about the book thing, which is why I do kind of want to watch. Is it sick that I would love it to be a bit gory? I'm pretty sure it is.
not gory exactley but very bloody ok you watch because the characters got their own interesting bio design is thenomenal and its scary and funny at the same time thats why
Well, if you're looking for an action show, this isn't it. For some reason, I've heard people complain about it being boring because there is no action. One person said that Pokemon is more exciting, which is just stupid. I love the whole "battle of wits" concept, and it's awesome how it challenges morality.
I think you guys have sucked me in xD If its funny and witty and has blood, ill definitly watch...but right now, not really :/
yea, death note is supposed to be one of the most intense animes'. if you want gory, watch one of those fighting animes or...i can't remember which but one of the gundam seasons, one the first episode, it was pretty gory... death not is good but i still am a true dragon ball z fan at heart. i still have yet to see an anime with as much action in it as DBZ. (naruto is ok. it's a little kidish but still pretty good.)
I think what kept me hooked was Light's facial expressions. That and the slashing opportunities. Light/L/Mello/Matt, thankyouplease.
Because it has a dark essence about it. It feels so... dark when you watch it- it's great. And the voice actors are top notch (the main protagonist has the voice of Miroku from Inuyasha).
I love watching Death Note! But it's impossible to ever find time to watch it cuz my mom does NOT like for me to watch Adult Swim, and usually I have school later in the day! But Fridays, Saturdays, and long weekends, now that's a different story!
