    I laughed at that.

I just like hugging emo people because I think they need a hug. I was at the mall earlier and I saw a few emo girls at Hot Topic, so I go in there and hug them all, then they all hit me, while the biggest one(didn't hug) kicks me in the nads with these spiky boots, so today was a good day. I one time hugged an emo, I thought it was a girl, so then he tried kissing me, then I knew it was a guy, so I ran for my virginity. XD

  2. ...ok...

But seriously alot of what gets people who get stereotyped as 'emo' is the world around them.

How its full of grred which leads to pain which leads to wars which leads to more pain and misery.

    Poverty.

    you see where I'm leading?

Dude, I simply hate emo's because, well, lets see. They cut themselves, they act like they are goth, they put on mascara and nail pollish, and they are complete idiots. They are they are weird, plus they are way to concerned about themselves. They pretend to be girls sometimes, or atleast the ones that live by me do. I mean cmon.

  4. 1) WHats wrong with eyeliner?

    2) Not all 'emos' cut themselves and not only 'emos' cut themselves self harmn is a common problem with people which I have overcome.

Why am I still posting here? T_T I did already...

Well anyway, I don't think emos cut for attention....
I mean, I sure as hell hate attention and scratching wasn't for that very reason. I mean, not ALL emos are bad, really. They're just going through a tough time, I know I was...or am, right now, actually, though I'm not about to start scratching...actually there are better ways to feel better. I draw or sing or write....but cutting isn't always an answer. And there are times, yes, when I'll write a pretty depressing poem, and then I'll think of positive things and say "I'm too young to be thinking of this crap" and throw it away. I should be glad to have all I have now.

Anyone thats cuts for attention, this is a news flash, you get negitave attention, thats like running into a gun shop with a gun, bad idea, theres therapy for this issue.

Honestly if they want to die, instead of cutting themselves (which I imagine hurts), get a shotgun... nuff said

Well the title of this thread is wrong. I don't hate emo kids they can just get kind of annoying. I don't hate anybody but if you're just gonna be all sad and depressing the whole time it would get annoying.

i have to say this kid has some good arguments

Shouldnt we keep our thoughts to ourselves instead of trying to bring others down? The better thing to do is to try to uplift others not burn them.....

Well it's more of a matter of tolerance than discrimination. It's not like people made it their mission to single out emo immersed kids and pick on them, it just happened because the music gave the style a horrible reputation and all the young impressionable kids in places like the suburbs began to feel that it was their that the music was reflecting. So don't make it seem like you're fronting a civil rights movements because it's simply a matter of whether or not people care about the message you're trying to state, not about equality or who you are as a human being. That's already accepted. Like I said, maybe some musicians will start to pull away from the self-pity and start writing about actual emotion. For having roots in emo music, Fallout Boy seems to be doing okay-- at least they've moved away from the depressed 12 year old in writing poetry in the rain. And hey your life could be worse. You could've been a starving African child born into sickness and nothing else.
