358/2 Days Why did Xigbar rage so hard?(Spoiler)

In the scene where Xigbar sees Xion as Ventus, he rages pretty hard, as if he really hated Ventus or something.

But now having played BBS this doesn't make any sense, because they barely even associated. I'm pretty sure they only met once, and that meeting didn't seem like it would make Xigbar despise Ventus forever. So what's up? Continuity error? Something to be revealed in BBSV2? Thoughts?

 

I'm thinking either something that happens later, or he just really didn't enjoy those three because he kept getting beat by people weilding keyblades. He certainly didn't like those keyblades

 

maybe hes deflecting his anger at Terra (for scarring his face and poking out his eye and stuff) onto Ven.

 

Maybe because the Ven/Vanitas affair affected his plans that he and MX had.

Aqua finished the deal, but the deal with KH probably made him hate Terra, Ven, AND Aqua.

This is just my guess though.

 

It's just faked emotion; it's not real. After all, he's a no8ody. That Means that when he expressed emotions, he's more likely to overdo it, as opposed to going for something more su8tle.

Also, memories of a past life can never 8e particularly nice. Especially if said memories include having one of your eyes 8linded. It's possi8le that he just disliked Ven on associ8ion.

Of course, it could 8e distaste at Xion herself. She's to the No8odies as what the No8odies are to normal people: considered inferior, and h8ed for it.

 

He most likely was just reminded of the time of TAV. Ven and Terra dress kind of similarly so he could have seen a resemblance and dispised him.

He may have just been exaggerating his emotions to compensate for not having any, as if to say that he still wants them. I think it could be more the upset of being reminded of the times as being Braig all bottled up and coming out as one onto Xion. It could just be a dislike for Xion but my guess is he just didn't like Ven for ruining their plans or via association with Terra, or he could be letting out all negative emotions.

 

I'd agree with what P said. I mean, just look at Xemnas in KH2. He exaggerated his emotions a good deal. Maybe Xigbar's the same way. Or maybe he realized there was something he didn't know when he saw Xion that way and got angered at it? I don't know *has not played Days or BBS*

 

no no no guys remember Braige wanted a keyblade for himself and Xion ATTACKED Xigbar by herself to get away from him. He saw Ventus because remember that Ventus went into Sora's heart and the Organization made a replica of Sora (Xion) and Xigbar meeting Ventus, he saw Xion as Ventus when her programing went all haywire

 

no, people just see Xion differently. likely the only reason he COULD see Xion as Ven was because Ven went into Sora's heart, but Saix always saw Xion with her hood up, as a puppet. he never saw her as a person. Axel also saw Xion with her hood up up until they had ice cream together. Xion's appearance is entirely based upon the observers perception of her. Axel and Roxas saw her as a friend, so they saw HER. Saix saw her as a tool to be used, so she always had her hood up around him. i dont know what Xigbar thought of Xion, so i dont know how he came up with Ven's image for her. ideas?

 

I thought everyone saw Xion depending on their connection with Sora? I always assumed Xigbar saw her as Ven because he's seen and met Ven, but never Sora so the only connection he would have with her is Ven. Saix had no connection at all so he saw her as a puppet. But Isa saw Ven so if I'm right about Xigbar, Saix should be the same way...
