358/2 Days Why did Roxas... -Spoilers-

Throw Oblivion to Riku in the final battle?
To strike raid him or what?
I don't get it...

 

to be honest.... i think he just wanted to make it fair~ now thats just my opinion.... but i dont think he was attacking, cause if he was.... he would have made it a closer range.

 

I think this is why he did it though. I don't see Roxas just handing over a keyblade for the sake of "being fair". After all, didn't he even use strike raid on some of the heartless? (it might not have been in Days, it might have been in the secret endings of KH1 and KH1 Final Mix)

 

I honestly think that he was just getting mad at riku and threw oblivion at him. Riku was pushing some buttons by talking about Xion and calling him a nobody when he believed he wasn't.

 

i don't know. i was wondering about the same thing myself. i thought in 358 Days there would be an explanation for this but there isn't. oh well, it's not that important i would think.

He was probably doing a strike raid and Riku caught it.... Riku didn't attack cause of seeing Xion in his visions. he then started fighting the heartless with Roxas then they started fighting... XP

 

well umm I really really think that (actually I think of it as Xion Talks to Riku telling him to stop Roxas during the fight) that MAYBE the one who threw Oblivion at Riku was actually Xion, to give him like an advice he must stop Roxas at any cost knowing he'll just get destroyed going on his own...That's why maybe when he took oblivion he suddenly had some random memories of her dafing away... And since Xion IS Sora AND Roxas maybe she found the way to do that (:

well I think of that while seeing for the 4th time the fight 8-) haha ^^U

 

Well, the odd thing is, in the original "Deep Dive", Roxas has a Kingdom Key just after throwing it at Riku.


So there's really no explanation.

 

The only logical explanation would be a Strike Raid. I think the fight might have been better if he never threw it and we might have seen Riku using his own keyblade.

Actually I believe that Namine told him.

 

To remind him of Xion.

 

I agree with TerraxLover, Roxas could of kicked his ass with two keyblades, but, Riku does have the power of darkness now, like he used at the end of kh 358/2 days to K.O Roxas.
