Why can't every game be Final Fantasy Type-0?

At least no one has Versus. So sick of having to see people fight a company tooth and nail for localization but then just do it themselves.

 

That's true. Guess I've just been jaded by the more niche games that take ages to get localised, if they ever even end up over here.

 

These same niche games are what I hate waiting for. :C

 

The best part of this is that they announced it figuratively two days after the fan translation was released. You'd think they would have C&D'd it or something if they were that close to the announcement.

To be fair, it's pretty normal to announce things during E3.

 

Well yeah, but surely they were aware of the fan translation, right? Shutting them down would have been such a Squeenix thing to do. It's like they did it specifically to say, "Hey fan translators, we're makin' a better version! Please be excited about that!"

I can't import games so it's not that simple.

 

The weirdest part of the recent announcement is that the game isn't coming to the Vita....wut. It's freaking PERFECT for that system, and would likely help keep the system from dying at least a tiny bit.

 

No company can really afford to put a game on Vita...

 

I guess. I almost feel bad for the guy...

 

All the work of a seventh gen game but with fraction of the market base? Not going to happen dude

You know why you don't want every game to be Type-0?

Because then you'll be complaining that every game is the same as type-0.
