Why are there many Kairi haters???

I think she's very interesting though! She hasn't really gotten a chance to do anything awesome. She was unconscious for most of the first game. When she got her heart back, she brought Sora back from the darkness--I'd say that's pretty impressive.

She was sent back to the island and had to remain there and wait for Sora. She soon, however, lost her memories of him, and had to return to the normal islander lifestyle. So it's not like she had any opportunities there.

End of KHII we didn't see her fighting much, did we? She took a few swings, and yeah her Keyblade is girly, but we don't know she's that bad of a fighter. Then she got caught in a corridor and had to go back home once again.

The only thing that pissed me off is that we're waiting and waiting for Kairi to get a chance to be developed a bit more, because her character does have potential, but in the secret ending of BBS she's just

In all seriousness, I agree with you. The character is pretty much a blank slate as the players know her so there is enormous room for character development and background story. I'm not too enthused about KH as a whole right now but I'd like to at least see where Nomura takes the character(s) from where we left off.

Cause I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to Lore of any kind.

 

If you really did mean emotionally strong, what is there to suggest that she isn't?
