Why are there many Kairi haters???

Right, because only strong action girls make good female protagonists.

 

My point exactly. You don't have to be a fierce, front line, forceful girl to be a good protagonist. ​

Kairi serves a story telling purpose. She's what Sora is fighting for (to an extent), the princess to his knight, a "pure" character, etc etc. Is she a cliche? Yes. Is she fairly useless in combat? Sort of. But that doesn't make her a poor character. Not every female character can be a BA like Aqua.

 

But what does she look like? *is shot again*

 

Y'know, try actually playing the game that the site is based around.

And,am i the only one who remembers when Kairi brought sora back to life,and when she fought for him in Kh2?Also,i remember someone said she didn't have a keyblade,she DOES,but she only uses it in Kh2 when she fighting for sora.

 

Since all of you want to say this is all a matter of opinion, I'm going to give mine:

I. She's a dainty little princess who couldn't even fight of puny shadows.
II. She's very useless. Her powers as a Princess of Hearts are unremarkable.
III. She probably won't go on the next journey and stay safely behind, once again proving her uselessness.
IV. She's the reason Xion (a Mary-Sue in all aspects of the term) looks like Xion.

 

If I was a jerk, I would say something like, "If I wanted your opinion, I would give it to you." But since I am a nice guy, I won't say such things. :) ​

She doesn't have to be mega BA like Aqua, imo. She could just, I don't know, be interesting.​

 

Honestly she has pretty pour development. As has been said, we really don't see her as an active roll that much. Her main purpose outside of being a princess is how sora preceives her. I think they are on the verge of expanding into her past but I'm kind of afraid this will turn her into a mary-sue.

Some people claim that she already is, but I don't see it. If anyone in KH is a mary-sue it is Sora.

Watch her play a grand role in KH3 and all the Kairi-haters get their ass kicked.
