One of the clues was that it was a Gen III. Heatmor is Gen V. I got it from the first clue.

You gotta kinda think hard. Pokemon Gold is when it comes in. It swaps its main color from blue to orange when it evolves. A really light orange. It appeared in the first season of Pokemon. Its in Black and White, black two and whit two, the lader 2 having it have a important role, all-be it not exactly stating its name.

 

Is it Dratini or Dragonair, they evolve to the orange Dragonite.

Wrong. The Pokemon ditches the blue color when it evolves, and starts in it, but isn't the Dratini or Dragonair

This part confuses me. Pichu doesn't have a major role in BW2, and doesn't appear in BW.

Dragonite. It was intro's in gen 2, because you could first catch it in the Dragon Village Blackthorn city, as Dritini, and when it evolves into Dragonite, it goes from being a Blue-color-centerd Pokemon to an orange-colored-centerd Pokemon. It has wings. And the skull stolen off of the skeleton in Neaceen Museum is of a gigantic Dragonite in form.

 

Dragonite was introduced in Gen 1. Lance had two of them.

Dratini's Evolution family was introduced in Gen 1, and Dratini and Dragonite were guessed.

TBH, I thought that I was correct. I must be rusty on my Pokefacts. Forgive me, DT, Hero, and all of Pokemon ever. I feel like such a failure...

 

Lance was the 4th of the Elite Four in Gen 1, and the Champion of Gen 2. Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite were the only three Dragon-types of Gen 1, and it was the only type that couldn't get STAB damage due to having only one move of their type, Dragon Rage, which did 40 damage no matter what.
You could catch a wild one in the Safari Zone.
