Question, who out there is a band geek (such as I was...sadly I don't play anymore now that I'm in college...) and what do ya'll play? I'm a brass extraodinaire. I played Trumpet Baritone and Tuba, so basically all ends of the spectrum in brass :D

A boner player! (I'm sorry, but if you stick with this, you will be called a boner at some point, least that's how it is at my school...hehe) Anywho, welcome to the brass, and stick with it, especially low brass. Four letters to remember L.B.K.A. (Low Brass Kicks ...well you know!)

I used to be a band geek. Played the clarinet, but when High school came around I became a drama geek and so I still am. I even go back to my high school and help out the drama department. XD

XD I see, there was a slight rivalry between drama kids and band kids my senior year though. It was all because someone in band misplaced their blanket and blamed it on the drama kids. I found it all hilarious.

I'm in band, but I wouldn't call myself a band geek. XD Because...
    1) I am the laziest kid ever on the face on the earth and I never practice.
    2) I am the laziest kid ever on the face on the earth and I never practice.
And... 3) I am the laziest kid ever on the face on the earth and I never practice.

The only reason why I'm still in band is because it would seem I have natural talent. XD

So... WHERE'S DA SAXA-MA-PHONES IN DA HOUSE?! XDDDDDDDDDD

    I wasn't a band geek for nothing :p - woohoo grade 12 music award!
Sadly not anymore - I did play the trumpet for 7 years in a few bands though, and sang a solo at my highschool graduation :D

I used to be a Band Geek. I played flute. Wasn't very good, so I quit.

    However, I do hope to join the Jazz Band at the high school I'm going to as a pianist, which I am good at. xD;

At my middle school, there are the Band Geeks, Orchestra Weenies, and Choir Nerds. I'm a Choir Nerd, through and through.

You do realize that playing an instrument doesn't make you a abnd geek. Loving band makes you a band geek.

I've played the Trumpet for 4 yrs.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into a brass Woodwind flame war...
And also *High Fives Mint* Trumpet was my first instrument.

I played three different brass instruments. Started on Trumpet from fourth grade to 10, then started up on the baritone (absolute fave instrument) and marched the Tuba one year.
Speaking of marching, has anyone else here marched in a band? Or am I te only one who's old enough to do that? *snickers*
Edit: I knew this would happen, but...
