Kingdom Hearts II who will win young riku or riku from kh2

Riku in Kingdom Hearts I would win in my opinion, especially if the circumstances were for Kairi. Riku lives on love, hate, and vengeance in Kingdom Hearts I. In Kingdom Hearts II, there's really nothing special about Dawn Riku...nothing that Riku/Xehanort didn't already have. And Riku in Kingdom Hearts I could use Dark Arua (I'm talking about the real one.) and he could use dark figara (sorry if that's not how you spell that) and he was faster.

Riku is not emo, and I'm getting sick of people saying that.

Looks have nothing to do with it, Riku looked cool in Kingdom Hearts I too, and he had more muscle in my opinion, and he was a super-duper villian is that enuff forz youz?

More experience with what? Hair growth?

Older? That makes him better? Well if Riku was 94, would that make him better than age 15?

What if Riku could use the heartless Keyblade he made in Kh1?

 

I agree that Riku wasn't emo. He was emotionally distraught and had reasons for it. Emo is when someone is in a constant state of depression and their lives aren't really that bad. Riku's position in the KH games merited his emotional reactions. In KH1 he was very worried for Kairi and also didn't get what Sora was doing while he was being played with by Maleficent and Xehanort. We still do not know all Xehanort's Heartless told him even as he was growing up on Destiny Islands but it appears Xehanort did find him as a young boy because after Kairi arrived, there's a scene where Sora leaves him and the doorway glows in the secret cave. So, really, we don't understand all Riku went through entirely but it seems clear that even though he wanted to be good and helpful and have his friends, Xehanort's Heartless worked something on him because that was his goal after all, according to the fake Ansem Reports.

I would still say Dawn Riku though would kick Rikunort's butt because he still has innate powers without the Keyblade and though altered, he could grow quite powerful because of it if he learns to play around as he had to with Darkness to learn its capabilities. He also knows about Xehanort's Heartless powers as he had to have a back seat to them once and then after he took charge of the form and used it. So he sort of has the upper hand having faced it and been it. Also, Riku is more powerful when he's not emotionally distressed because he's very cognitive. He actually gets more lost in things when he lets emotion take him over which is why the villains tried to keep him in a state of confusion and anxiety.

I didn't mean ~that~ EMO. His emotional state was not as great. He went through all that crap for Sora and Kairi, and he at the moment was just too embarrassed to face his friends for putting them through so much. He was sorry for everything he did, for walking into darkness, and pretty much putting Sora through hell, of course his emotional state was a bit distraught! Mine would be too!

Still KH2 Riku, because he was more experienced with his skills, life, goal and had a better understanding of both light and darkness.

 

But Rikunort 2 (the one from KH2) used both the Soul Eater, and The Way To Dawn. So saying Dawn Riku had a better weapon doesn't count.

Let me chronolocically list all the Riku's and his different forms.

KH1 Rikus:

DI Riku: Lets leave him out... since he really doesn't register on the power scale as he fights with a wooden sword. Wins/Loses against Sora. I take it as canon that Sora lost.

Riku ver. 1.0 : Essentially Riku, he uses Soul Eater, and has darkness powers granted by Malificent. You never really fight him directly. But you meet him in Traverse Town, Monstro, and Hallow Bastion. Wins against that heartless with Sora along side. He also defeats Beast in this form, and Punks Sora for his Keyblade.

Dark Riku: First appearance is at the entrance of Hallow Bastion. He has stronger dark powers, and uses the dark armour for the first time. He fights with Soul Eater. Loses against Sora.

Possesed Riku: Rikunort in Riku form. The two entities coexist in symbiosis. Fights with the Soul Taker. Extreamly strong. Uses Dark Aura for the First time. Loses against Sora.

Rikunort 1: Riku and Xehanort coexisting. Xehanort is dominant. Extraordinarily strong. Almost god tier. Loses against Sora.

CoM Riku:
Riku ver 1.0: See above... Clears Castle Oblivion

Darl Riku: See above... Clears Castle Oblivion, and defeats Lex.

Dawn Riku 1: Seen walking out of Castle Oblivion with Mickey. Wears a black treancoat, and fights with Souleater.

KH2: Rikus:

Dawn Riku 1: Same as above, except he fights with Oblivion. Supresses the darkness within himself. He loses to Roxas.

Rikunort 2: Riku and Xehanort coexisting. Only Riku is dominant, but appears physically the same as Xehanort. Extraordinarily powerful. Defeats Roxas.

Dawn Riku 2: Riku is in full control of his darkness. Defeats Xemnas with Sora.



I would say the strongest is Dawn Riku 2. The only contender would be Rikunort 2... since he does defeat Roxas.

Nothing from KH1 could challenge either one.

 

Riku from kh2. He is so much better.

 

actually ill have to respectfully disagree with that. riku is stronger than rikunort because whatever was in his heart before became strong enough so that the keyblade of darkness is now in his possesion. I mean, the keyblade of all of darkness. thats a pretty big title to weild. riku wasnt in control of his darkness completely as rikuort because of well...he took the form of ansem.

kh2 riku is most powerful i say...

 

you know it could be tough because older riku has a lot more experience and now has a keyblade (which is my favorite of all) but younger riku has ansem/xehanorts heartless on his side. so i guess itd have to be 50% 50%

 

I'd have to say Riku from KH2 just due to the fact that he's probably more experienced.

 

Technically, I feel inclined to point out that it didn't seem Riku lost that badly to Roxas the first fight...and the second fight as Riku, he actually put him out cold for a bit. There's the scene where Roxas is downed and Riku gives him back Oblivion. It's after this that he lets Roxas get up and changes to Rikunort and overpowers him with Darkness probably to counter Roxas's Light element to make him go out cold longer because otherwise he'd have had to really beat down Roxas. Roxas is a very 'emotional' aggressive fighter so it was apparent he had to be taken down with the least amount of harm. That's probably why Riku lost the first time; not wanting to fight so hostile.

I do agree though that Dawn Riku is the strongest and the hardest contender would be Rikunort in KH2, and not the Rikunort of KH1. Really, the only time you face Riku direct in -serious- confrontation is in KH1 but with Donald and Goofy along. The Rikunort battle after was pretty mirrored to the first but with dark aura added and wasn't that hard after facing the first one. Rikunort in KH2 had all of Riku's knowledges of fighting and experience as well as having gained things by having to learn to get better with it in CoM and a year of wandering and all between CoM and KH2. I feel Rikunort of KH2 probably would have beaten Rikunort of KH1 as well for that reason.

So, I'd say...
Dawn Riku
Rikunort - KH2
Rikunort - KH1
Dark Riku - KH1/CoM
Riku - after he left DI and acquired Soul Eater.
Riku - Island boy that kicks your butt with a wooden sword.

One thing I do still ponder though about Soul Eater itself. I wonder if that was always a Keyblade but lost its abilities after the Keyblade Wars and reawakened as Riku walked the path of Twilight to the Dawn or no. WttD is seen in the BBS trailer so I have hopes to see that answered. AAAAAAAAAAAnd I ramble on so yeah, I'll end this now.

 

I will oppose the argument of Dawn Riku winning over Rikunort 2, as Dawn Riku lost a severe portion of the dark powers. He couldn't even open a portal!

Rikunort has the abilities of the keyblade, Darkness, a strong body, more darkness, and even more darkness.

Dawn Riku has the abilites of a keyblade and diminished/no skill with darkness.

So, place your bets. Mine goes with Rikunort.

 

They meant older and more experienced in fighting. Kingdom Hearts I Riku was being drifted away from Sora and Kairi with the darkness, in KH2 he fights more, and therefore has more experience. And Dawn Riku is better because he learned to control the darkness instead of it the other way around.

 

Well, you have a point...but if I had to choose between Dark Portal and Meteor Rain...Meteor Rain wins.

 

this argument is slightly unfair, because dawn riku got his title towards the end of kh2. we havent seen the amount of power he has in him.
Still, you have to take into account the abilities dawn riku now has.
1. He can "float" while attacking, which we can see from his super long ass air combo (lol)
2. His new "dark aura" is a bunch of dark fire firaga's at once. The other riku's could shoot only 1 at a time.
3. Dark Sheild. Rikunort2 cannot use this ability...
4. Session: this one is debatable but we're in a debate (where the hell is erkz?!) so ima use this: In session, riku and sora summon golden blades that both of them seem to control teleknitically...possibly a riku ability? Its a joint attack so I realize that sora may control it as well (riku might not be able to do it on his own) but he can still do it so its going down.
During session riku can also shoot an insane amount of dark firagas. but get this: sora can do it too...I have a feeling that session is all about lending abilities...that means riku can give sora the power to temporarily use darkness while he can too? you have to have a large amount of darkness to be able to do that...

Out of all of these rikunort has 2 of these abilities, and 2 more dawn riku does not have. which is summoning that demon heartless behind him and creating some kind of dark lightning bolt thing...(land of dragons fight against sora)

Because of that I'd say that they r about even. But the thing is, dawn riku has a keyblade, and rikunort2 does not. which adds a lot of points to my invisible point ticker because all of the rikus besides dawn riku have succumbed to the keyblade. now that riku weilds the same type of weapon that defeated him before, hes a lot stronger than the others almost automatically.

 

Okay let's see what the most recent version of Riku has Dawn Riku I guess :\


Dawn Riku: Way to Dawn= Attack power 3? Dude, it's still a keyblade and all but it's attack power is 3. He uses Dark Arua, the KHII one. He uses Dark potion to cure himself to full health, so he can recover fast. He has Dark Sheild for protection.

The Riku I think would pwn (The one with Dark Armor...possesed by Ansem last boss for hollow bastion 1st visit I think.):

Dark Arua, well I'm just going to call it Dark Dance so there isn't any confusion. He has Dark Arua from Kingdom Hearts II. He has Soul Eater which is a powerfull weapon. He has Ansem inside him for like last resort power. He has those dark disc things he can throw. He has the heartless keyblade. He has that cool thing where he puts darkness around the heartless keyblade and he slashes down at you, not the Dark Dance. And he says oblivion and darkness when he fights.

yeah, I see where your coming from...but in CoM riku says to ansem: "I took on your full power and still lost to sora." If Dark Riku took on all of ansem's power in that kh1 fight (which he did because he said so) then dawn riku is still stronger because by the end of CoM riku defeats ansem.

Yeah but Dawn Riku doesn't have those powers, I wasn't comparing Dark Riku to CoM Riku. And besides Sora is like a cheater with the light. And it was all the power that Ansem was willing to give to Riku I think so, because Ansem knew he had to defeat Sora in The end of the World, so Dark Riku was just to keep Sora busy while whatever the hell was going on (can't recall what went down in kh1 at the end) so it was like a distraction. Ansem still needed some power to defeat Sora, so he didn't really give Riku ALL his power, because if he did, Riku would have had that shadow thing and the big ship thing, and the two-sided Soul Eater spear thing.

 

Dawn Riku will annihilate younger Riku, and thats a fact.

 

Dawn Riku doesn't have sh*t on Dark Riku, it doesn't matter how experianced he was, he needed Sora's help to defeat Xemnas, younger Dark Riku, or younger Riku if you will, defeated Ansem by himself in RRCoM.

 

KH2 duh he's stronger in it and he has just enough darkness to own everyone...
