    It has been a long time since I've seen it, but wasn't XANA the security system on lyoko? I forget what corrupted it though. I want to say it was over protective and then when they tried to shut it down it just freaked out.

    I suspect that I'm just blatently wrong there.


    I liked Code Lyoko but I was never able to watch it consistantly.

    Unless this didn't carry over from the pilot episode, Xana was Lyoko itself. That's why the computer had to be shut down at the end. Though why they couldn't just delete Lyoko is beyond me.

    If XANA was Lyoko there would be no way to deactivate a tower unless XANA alowed it because XANA would be the tower itself. XANA is just a powerful program deeply attached to LYOKO.

    I've never seen the ending to LYOKO so I can't tell you why they needed to shut the computer down. In fact that shouldn't work based on what I know.
