Kingdom Hearts Who used roll ability more than anything else and why

I never used dodge roll. I usually just ran or guarded and counterattacked.

 

I used the roll move mostly for fun. XD

 

Thats what i did a couple days ago on final mix. Just let donald and goofy take his health down while i'd roll for lifethen i made the final blow like 2 hours later.

 

I don't know if I used it much throughout the game, but I was using it a lot to avoid Terra's attacks.

In the first game, Dodge Roll was given so early, and it was very useful for moving faster.

I didn't use it non stop, EXCEPT against Kurt Zisa. Spamming Dodge Roll was the only way to avoid his attacks while in its Magic Form. Also in that form, I needed Dodge Roll to get closer to him.
His Prowl Form needed a lot of Dodge Rolls too, expect those actually needed to be timed, instead of randomly pressed.
Anyway, my thumbs hurt after the battle. A lot.

 

To avoid attacks and gain distance quickly..special abilities are nice but takes too much mp..why use specials when you can get the job done with basic attacks anyway?

 

I used it to dodge and get around at a faster pace.

 

I think I used it most against Cloud(Omnislash ftw).
It was kinda hard and where he did that attack were he drops out of the sky and creates a shockwave once on the ground... It's really handy to use it.

 

I did it because it was just faster than running. Plus, it was useful when it came to dodging attacks more easily (it's called "Dodge Roll", after all...).

 

To stay alive. Also, he seemed to go a little faster. So...xDD​

 

I did until I got Superglide. Sora just seemed to go quicker when rolling like that. Plus you get to mash the square button which gives you something to do, and I usually need something distracting me from my main focus.

 

I've used that move alot too...It's gotten me out of some pretty tough spots.

 

I remember using dodge roll to dodge the goop from Cerberus' mouth. I would usually jump or fly to dodge anything else, but I used dodge roll to move faster.
