Birth by Sleep Who is this?

Who is this guy cricled in black? I understand he's a new chacter but whats his name?

 

Braig, Ansem the Wise's apprentice and also Xigbar's True Self/Other Self/Somebody/Original, whatever you want to call it.

Really? he looks nothing like his somebody at all....

 

Xigbar looks older than Braig.
Add some gray in that hair, a scar and a couple of wrinkles, an eyepatch, and you get Xigbar.
But I agree, he looks a lot more different to Xigbar than Aeleus, Dilan, Even did to Lexaeus, Xaldin, Vexen respectively.

Nobodies don't age.

 

MAYBE just maybe he was the last of the people to become a nobody which is why he is so old.

Ohhh wait just a sec... he was like numba 3 in the organization soo that disproves that i guess but just thinking he couldve become a nobody at an older age but he may have still become part of the making of the organization.

I dunno a lot of contradictions .... just a bunch of thoughts splattered in a message.

 

I'm pretty sure numbers 1-6 became Nobodies at the same time.
If anything, Xehanort turned first, but I'm pretty sure the others weren't far behind. And I doubt he changed so long later that he turned that old.

 

Xigbar is II. And they all become nobodies at the same time.

If the original six members of the Organization became Nobodies all at the same time, maybe whatever turned them into Nobodies caused an explosion of some sort. The closer you were to it, the more drastic the change. Xehanort and Braig were probably the closest to it. The gray streaks in his hair could've been some sort of energy surge like Marvel's Rogue from the X-Men. This explosion also could've also blown out his eye and caused burns or a gash across his face that resulted in that scar (or Terra could've done that, who knows).

No evidence or proof, just speculation.

 

They walked into the door to the heart of Hollow Bastion. I don't think that would cause an expolsion. Thought there is alot of power behind it....

The scars seem to be caused by a tearing or cutting of the face. The are not straight and don't seem like burn scars. Though you idea of the nobodies birth and being altered idea is pretty good. I've thought of something similar a while back.

 

I like what the guy above said..... the scar is from terra kicking his ass. makes sense if you look at the pics. thats my best guess

 

I personally think it's Ven that gave him the scars.

Of all the characters Xigbar would see from Xion, you'd think the person who gave him the scars would be his greatest memories. Considering the pain and suffering.
