Kingdom Hearts II who is ''he''??

i whached that scene over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and i could not figuer out who ''he'' is

 

Roxas was referring to the Keyblade. As Sora's Nobody, he inheritted it without any idea as to why. As such, when he confronted Sora in that scene, the same boy who had the life Roxas himself couldn't live, he wanted to know why Sora had the Keybale, the very same weapon that destroyed the very life Roxas wanted to live.

If anything, it could have been an oversight on the part of the translators. xD

 

I always thought it was DiZ he was referring to as he chose Sora over Roxas

 

I swear i remember that being only a popular theory and "he" was later confirmed to be actually Axel.
Trying to find whatever said it now.

 

Really? o: I always thought it was the Keyblade. Actually, it does make sense about it being Axel, since he chose to let Sora live rather than his bestfriend5eva Roxas.

 

Exactly, which was the reason he even awakened in first place.
Couldn't find any solid proof on it though, just endless discussions >_>

 

Axel? no....It's not him. Axel still missed Roxas after Sora and Roxas became one.

How about DiZ? o_O I mean, DiZ chose Sora to "carry out his vendetta."

 

I always thought that it was DiZ aswell :D

 

I think it is supposed to be a personification of the Keyblade. Because even though the Keyblade is sort of inanimate, the Keyblade chooses it's wielder which makes it sort of a "he." But yeah, it might be DiZ

 

Roxas fights organization: Axel goes get him back, attempting to kill him even.
Sora fights organization: Axel gives clues to him, partners ups with him, then dies for him.

Now tell me if you were Roxas you wouldn't get jealous.

 

Actually, I can't really say . . . Funny, for the longest time, I thought he was referring to Riku. There's no way for my to justify why, so maybe it really was the Keyblade. Axel is also a legible thought for it . . .

 

i always thought that whenever Roxas said "he" he was always refering to Sora. so what scean are you talking about with the "he"

 

I've beleived since the beginning that it's Riku that Roxas was referring to. I read somewhere that when Riku gives himself to darkness at the beginning of the first Kingdom Hearts, he passed the power onto Sora. In the battle scene between Sora and Roxas, while Roxas is up in the air, he sees the symbolism that Riku and Sora were close friends. In my mind, Roxas has justifiable anger. You find out that in Days, Roxas grows two very important friendships throughout the story, ending with Axel siding against him and losing Xion, the closest thing he could feel to love. It's all Riku's fault because he went into darkness. If that didn't happen, Sora wouldn't have turned into a heartless and Roxas wouldn't have been created and he wouldn't have to suffer. I guess he beleived that not existing to feel the pain was better that existing.

It could also be something that has to do with Ventus. In Birth By Sleep, Ventus never met Sora or Riku, but he chose to dwell within Sora for some unknown reason. He wanted to know why "he" (Ventus) chose him as a vestle for his heart. It makes some sense because of the resemblance between Roxas and Ven. This theory is just all speculation though.

 

DiZ chose to imprison Roxas to revive Sora.

Riku chose to help him do so.

Xemnas chose to use Sora over Roxas.

Axel gave up on his plan to revive Roxas, and instead helped Sora.

The Keyblade chose Sora over Riku.

Ven chose to combine with Sora.

Xion chose to combine with Sora.

Roxas may also have thought that Terra had chosen Sora, due to Sora stealing his Keyblade from Riku.

Overall, there are a lot of people choosing Sora, and very few people choosing Roxas, so I'd say just about anyone could be 'him'.

2: after roxas was gone, axel left the Org XIII and became "good".
3:Remember that scene that was in the final mix version where Axel and Roxas were saying good bye to each other in spirit whatever.

 

He was talking about the keyblade.

 

In that perspective, you're right; a lot of people could be 'him', but looking at this, I don't really know how Terra and Roxas liek . . . coheres in any manner [besides the whole Ven/Roxas deal], and why the Keyblade choosing Sora over Riku matters is a mystery to me in this case, so that narrows it down.

I really wish I had my own little personal Nomura to answer these questions for me. >:

 

The Keyblade chose Sora over Riku because it sensed Riku's heart waning/weak at the beginning of the game (because he was tempted by darkness), and Sora's was stronger. Then Riku's got stronger and the Keyblade switched allegiance, but then Sora accepted Donald and Goofy as friends (as well as everyone else he met), and the Keyblade went back to him.

On P's post though, I'd say it's more likely Axel, since Roxas more or less didn't care for any of the others. Axel's sacrifice for Sora would have the most effect on Roxas since Axel both died and pretty much resolved to kill his best friend (Roxas), but save some guy (Sora). He was probably severely pissed.
