BTW, on the MP deal. I run a Conjurer (healer) and MP comes back like crazy when I'm not in battle. I assume it is the same for other classes, but I'm pretty noobish. If a boss battle runs too long and I'm using my MP badly (mostly trying to attack myself instead of leaving it to DPS guys) I can start to run short. But even the in-battle regen has been enough to keep me a float. The only other role I've done Arcanist as part of getting the White Mage job, and I never ate enough MP to care about it's ability to regenerate. And that one even has abilities to get additional MP back.

So yeah, you might want to play a Disciple of War class first, but I wouldn't worry about using a Discipline of Magic down the line.

I'm awful at paying attention to my HP in video games and I had no problems with MP when I played conjuror. Granted I didn't get very far with it (I got up to level 15 and then learned it was no longer a requirement for bards), but I agree with Mixt. If anything, there are ethers readily available.

Oh I suck at HP watching sometimes too. Luckly it is a rare issue when I'm in a praty. I always get overconfident at the early levels of a class only to have something kill me "out of nowhere" around level 5-10. Of course when I fight more it turns out that I need to fight like 5 without breaks and I just wasn't looking at all. lol

But seriously, ethers (and potions for that matter) are given as a reward for like 1/3 of the quests and are sold for next to nothing in the market because of people (like me) who never use them. I really should at least start using food though. It actually can be useful and they don't sell well either.

Disciple of magic are basically just mages obviously. you can bee all of disciples of land and hand but I prefer being disciple of hand really but those are just obviously side roles to your main role.

It's an MMO so yeah, it does have a rather involved character creation.

Since there wasn't room on the Ultros server when I was trying to remake my character, I don't have a picture to show of mine. All I can say was the name was F'malliba Malha. (Random Generator does not generate very good names, since a ton of them had already been taken) Hopefully I can re-use that name at the end of the week, but we'll see.

By the way, if you're playing on the game console, if you have your earbuds (courtesy of PS4) or Headset plugged in, do you automatically start hearing everyone who's using one, or what? How does voice chat work in that game?

I love the green hair : D I also love looking at other people's characters because that it the personification of their perfect creation and it's always quite different to yours :3 and I love that.

It's actually odd! I listened to a podcast about this subject, that people have different ways of going about designing their characters. Some try to make a character that looks like themselves, others just pick a bunch of things they like and put it together (which was kinda the situation with me), and some people think up this whole backstory for their character and design them in line with that. It's so interesting. I'm lazy so I usually just select a hair style / color and then build a character off of that. This was my character for one of the betas (you had to make a new character which was then wiped after a few days), you can't see it too well because of the hat but she has pink hair:

BUY THE GAME. IT'S AWESOMELY AWESOME. NOT TOO MENTION THE GRAPHICS JUST MAKE YOU DROOL RAINBOWS OF OHMYGAWD.

I try to do colors outside of normal, but I could never get myself to make green hair work. I enjoy doing purple, silver, and blue, but things like blond and brown and such I keep away from, just because it's something that's always done, and I like doing something different. Same usually goes for the eyes too

Haha, I guess designing after myself is never the case, or else I'd be picking male for my gender way more often. About 98% of the time I pick female. And it's funny, because people always wonder why I do that and I just think "What's keeping us from picking whatever gender we want? No one said we were obligated to pick our gender when making a character." I just usually pick something that looks nice.

But I am poor and still need to finish the Mass Effect trilogy (half way through the first game) and must finish KH1.5 before September ;-; and then I will be busy working... sad times.
She is so cute <3 Also, is this an online game like WoW or Guild Wars?

Yeah xD I pick whatever gender I feel like- in GW I had a male Charr because they were cooler (and it looked nothing like me xD), when I played morrowind I would always be a male Argonian but in Oblivion and Skyrim I would go for a female Argonian/Khajit. I never make them look like me, I always just pick the features I like the best, I am not big on roleplaying, I like to give them a back story sometimes and play to it but it's not something major.

Yeah, I still have to work on Mass Effect myself, and then play the second, since i bought it on Steam, but I just find it so hard to get back on when I think about having to drive that tank or take those elevators everywhere

    Yeah, it is.

Gender in these games is interesting too! I vary a lot, in games like the Sims I prefer making males for some reason (I'm way more into dressing guys than girls? I don't know why), but most other games I play female.

Yeah, I can't even remember where I got to, I have no reason why I stopped playing, other things just got more interesting xD

I used to like making myself in the Sims and some guy, but when I draw I much prefer drawing males as I just find them more interesting then females. Perhaps there is an interest about what the other gender is like, just general interest.
