Suprisingly I didn't get lost in Hollow Bastion. I got fed up of fighting though, so I just kept on running past all the heartless >D After running aimlessly for a while, I found the castle chapel with ease xD

The first Maleficent battle was like chips and cheese :3
Her dragon form annoyed the hell outta me and I had never used cure so much in my life D=

Ansem/Riku was a pain in the butt. I'd always get him down to like, the final tiny bit of HP, and he'd wipe me out every time T.T

I didnt get to her dragon form until, like, three weeks of straight game playing. the stupid meteor balls kept hitting me. it p!ssed me off, then my nine year old cousin comes and beats it in one hour......there is no justice in life.

It only took me about 3 tries on easy and about maybe 7 tries on hard.
But I leveled up a bunch before I went there.

It took me over three months to figure my way around the castle ._.
Well, I did give up and not even try for at least two months out of that, I was just so confused and the damn flying Heartless kept knocking me off into the valley. I was not amused.

Then it took me one attempt to beat the first Malificent then a few weeks to beat her in dragon form. But I knew what I was doing wrong everytime so it was just a matter of remembering when to do things. Then Riku/Ansem took me a couple of months, mainly because I had to beat him for myself and my friend and I had to keep swapping over so I'd get used to one Sora then have to use one at half the skill level for her. Then when I finally given up on beating him for her I sent it and back she said it wasn't her memory card, which it was, so I had to give her my one to prove to her it was mine and I'd only just beaten Riku there too. But she thought it was her's and wiped the one that was mine so I was stuck with a low level Sora in high level fights that I had trouble with on the level he was at on my game. And I hate leveling up with a passion. ¬¬

After beating Riku again I was estactic and the rest of the game was easy as anything really, one restart in the entire Ansem battle :3

    Ah, so annoying,I hated that.
I loved the game, but there are lots of points in which I hate.
Another for example: The first visit to The Colusuem.[SPL?]

Actually, I think that getting to the top of the castle was harder than the bosses combined. It took me two or three days to get to the top and one day to beat all three of the bosses.

The castle was ok to get around in, what really did bother me was to re-watch dragon-malificent cutscene and the one before fighting riku-ansem more than 6 times! i even memorised the dialog :/

    haha hell yeah

Never invite Bareri when your fighting a boss...

She came over ad started playing sims and everytime I'd verse Riku/Ansem, she'd distract me and I'd lose..... I did it the next moring while she was sleeping

The entire task of navigating yourself around the castle of Hollow Bastion was quite annoying and somewhat redundent. Back and forth constantly and trying to remember where each individual place was in the castle was a pain I have to admit. I am actually glad that they didn't bring back the whole lift system into Kingdom Hearts II. It would've been even more of a pain.

I didn't get lost, and it didn't take that long to kill any of the bosses, but the thing that DID annoy the living F*CK out of me was the fact that I kept falling off the edge whenever I tried to fight a Gargoyle, cause they would keep flying off over the edge. Same with the Wizards and all those little elemental guys.

Hollow Bastion is my favorite world, but it was a pain in the ass to navigate through...

lol, not to offend anyone but .. is it REALLY that difficult to find your way through the castle? i flew through this level when the game first came out on expert, just riku/ansem was a bit hard but just a few elixers did the trick =/

My only problem was Riku/Ansem, he was a pain, but the rest was easy.

It was quite annoying. I was able to defeat Maleficent, but I had to get my cousin to beat Riku/Ansem for me.
