Who built the Organizations stronghold?

 

I dont know. It must've been built by Xemnas, who said he was building a new world. He did in fact did....the world that never was.

 

He meant Kingdom Hearts when he said "new world."

It isn't as if they ever really had an explanation of how the castle came to be

 

which r we talking about Castle Oblivion or That One Castle in TWNW if so i think it was Xemnas who built it or some how it was just there.​

 

I'm guessing it just appeared along with the rest of the world, or something similar to that.

The castle in TWTNW is what I'm talkig about. Whats with the cutscene where Xigbar is talking to Zexion. It's titled new head quarters, but all it reveals is the Room of Sleep, Room of Awakening, and that they are up to 11 members. I figured it would refer to the castle they were in, not Castle Oblivion.

 

Castle Oblivion was there even before the Organization existed, so Xemnas, other than making it his headquarters, putting half the members inside for the current experimentation of memories, he has no connection in its build. The only reason he had taken a liking to it, was because, as hinted in the new scene of FM+ with Xigbar and Zexion, where there is a Room Of Sleep, there is a Room Of Awakening, and Xemnas might have suspected the other was in Castle Oblivion.

As for, The Castle That Never Was, I always thought that it was Xemnas's doing. He does have the power to turn members into lower Nobodies like Dusks, and he does wield the element of Nothingness, which is the make up of Nobodies, and where the world they live in is. It would explain the Nobody symbols, and the current decoration, as well as the Thirteen Chairs for its thirteen members, etc.

 

They were made by the architect that never works. ^_^.

 

My guess would be xemnas...
He has shown considerable powers(like turning hearts into a copy of kingdom hearts wich would restore nobodies), and during the final battle, look closely at the buildings he throws at you... he dosent pick them up, he seems to sort of conjure them out of darkness/thin air.
Now if you create building blocks out of nothing as an attack, you should be able to build a castle^^

I just found out, it's Kingdom Hearts that made the castle. Thanks for all your input. A mod can close this if the want.

 

It's the world that never was, so that means it's all basically an illusion similar to castle oblivion. Yet, the Organization Members still appear within the the world that never was. I think it just appeared, from some sort of source. Like that nothingness Xemnas uses.

 

maybe the founders, they made the room of sleep.

Mabe the castle's alive... I dont know if it says in the game, but there's the dragon that looks like the castle, and Kingdom Hearts made the castle, so maybe its a living thing.

Still, that world's been and gone, so we probably learnt all the massive secrets there already...
