If there's one valuable lesson that can be learned from KH, it is that we are all Sora/Xehanort.

i'm falling out of love with KH because i haven't played a game in the series since KH2 and don't know what's going on anymore because Square Enix milked the series with spin offs like crazy and put them on different platforms every time thanks square enix i hate you

Every game that isn't DDD can be emulated at this point you pleb.

 

But that's one of the more "important" spin-offs, so that doesn't mean a whole lot.

 

Why does everyone think that if it's not on PS2 it's a spin off lol.
The only games I would consider spin offs are the sh*tty mobile games like Kingdom Hearts V Cast.

I still don't see how they could be considered spin off games though when they're all so important to the plot. (Ok maybe Re:Coded isn't super important, but CoM, Days, BBS and DDD are all important parts of KH's overall story)

 

That may be case but they jump from system to system and the "quality" has also been all over the place. Maybe that is why people think they are spin offs, I know from my point of view all of the handheld releases got really annoying, as I personally prefer their console titles.

 

I haven't played a game since 2 but I've kept up with the story. Kind of.

Still want a Console port of Before Crisis.

The only handheld games I'd call "spin-offs" are Days and Re:Coded

Birth by Sleep and 3D were definitely important to the overall story, and while the other two are a part of the bigger picture as well, it'd be a lot easier (and less frustrating) to just watch the three-hour movies to get their story.

 

BBS and 3D were both console quality, too

But yeah, they are redeeming themselves (or cashing out) with the HD remixes. I think they're all worth playing (minus Re:Coded, I haven't played that yet).

 

Ehhh story wise, I wouldn't wanna expect anything from Re:coded, but the gameplay is worth the play.
