they had a black american PS3 painted white on ebay once and it sold for around $4000 (this was when PS3's first came out) it was on tv and everything haha =P btw the paint job was professional so it looked very nice
But when are the multiple colored wii's coming out? Plus do you really think a different colored Playstation will make much of a difference in sales?
Eh, whilst white doesn't get as dirty as black, you are pretty much just getting the same deal...cept it's in white. So if you have trouble deciding to buy a black/white PS3, something is wrong with you. They actually got some pretty good games out now if you haven't noticed. Devil May Cry 4 is coming out in Febuary and Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't too far off either.

I dont know, I actually think the black looks better. Besides, black mixes well with a lot of different colors I think.
the white looks nice since it will not show scratches as well as the black one example: look at your black ipod, now look at your friends white ipod =P
