White knight chronicles: War of the knights

In ancient times, Two nations, Athwan And Yshrenia, are in the middle of a brutal and gruesome war. Both nations have valuable resources the other wants. Athwan being fertile and lush lands, Yshrenia being mines which yield bounties unheard of in Athwan. Diplomacy has been tried again and again for access to each others resources yet no one is willing to give for their asking price. Then one day, Yshrenia decided if they couldn't work out an agreement, They would take what they needed, and attacked. They fight battle after battle, yet neither side is ever able to tip the scale in their favor. That is, until the invention of the knights. The Athwani queen Murias, and the Yshrenian emperor Madoras both have great magical power and helped create them. They are weapons of monstrous proportions. These take the form of thirty meter tall suits of armor. They function by a pact maker lending their soul in order to take on this form. While in it, their strength, speed, endurance, and overall skills are enhanced. Each knight has an ark which the pact maker carriers and is necessary to transform. If anyone other than the pact maker of that knight touches it, they lose their life. A pact can only be broken with the pact maker's death, at which point their knight becomes forfeit to whoever first touches it. The knight's fighting style often branches from that of the pact maker. As soon as the secret behind the knight's construction was discovered, it was put into use. As the strength of the pact makers grow, so do that of the knights. With this new addition, the war takes a whole new turn. The battles are fiercer and more violent. It seems one will go out soon enough, the only question is..who?

Rules
-No godmodding. Though keep in mind if you don't have a knight and go up against someone who does, it'll most likely be pretty one sided.
-Swearing is allowed but don't go overboard.
-Keep romance to a PG13 level
-max of two Ocs per person. contact me if you feel the need for more.
-try to use proper grammar and spelling. If you cant then use spell check
-Try to post at least once a day. If you don't post within three days, i can kill your character off unless you leave a notice, so if you're going away, you might want to do that.
-Don't kill anyone else's character without their permission
-I'll make the incantation optional

Personality: Lucifer is an intelligent young man. This makes him cold, calculating, and analytical. He often nitpicks the flaws of others and holds much disregards towards most, if not all, of humanity. He's often seen alone and rarely, if ever, associates with anyone. He often seems sure of himself and his own abilities, but his own philosophy makes him seem emotionless. He declares himself a nihilist, and as such holds everything in a cynical view. What he sees, it is. Because of this, he justifies his own actions by speaking of his own animal instincts, as if he had consciously obeyed them. Though he shows much disdain for the war, he believes there will be no end, and therefore he must fight to survive. He has no liking for killing, but he will almost always kill his opponent or teammate (should they prove to be a burden). However, it is theorized he may also be a schizophrenic. But, his insanity has yet to show itself (save for in his own actions).
Bio: Lucifer was born into a family of miners. His father often drank and his mother was a broken rag doll. He was often abused and his mother did nothing but watched until it was her turn to be thrashed and mauled until his father passed out or left home. As Lucifer became older, his mother died when his father went on his usual drunken tirades. This made Lucifer's father drink more. Lucifer eventually ran away and joined the military. A few years in the military, Lucifer finally heard word of his gods-forsaken father. He had died in an alleyway. Lucifer felt nothing. No joy, no sorrow. He excelled in their studies program and proved to be an excellent tactician. After many training exercises, he was selected to be chosen as a Knight. Despite this honorary, elite status, Lucifer rarely uses it, save for when he is forced to fight another knight.

Personality: Felis is an intellectual, bright lad. He is very social and usually wants the last say in things. Although he is a great warrior he feels that war is unnecessary which makes him a great negotiator. He never settles for anything lower than his best.


Bio: Felis was raised by his Grandma and Grandpa. His parents died the day after his birth for unknown conditions. In school he has always been a straight A student. He has/had many friends during his life. So many that it's hard to count them all. Because of that he has lived a pretty happy life. When he was 16, his grandpa died of a heart attack; overcome with grief, Felis' grandma ran-off, to never be found alive again. Lost, Felis joined the military for shelter and protection. There he developed his fighting skills and his intellectual skills even more. As a reward for his achievement Felis was rewarded his katana.

Lets see, what to do now. Allen thought. Travelling from place to place can get boring at time, so it's always good to have a place to stay when it does. The probelm was that Allen didn't have a fall back place to go. "Looks like I'm heading for the nearest town." With his destination in mind, he started ot make his way towards the town.

 

Gabriel sat alone in a tavern in the royal city of athwan. it was normally very busy, the busiest in town to be exact, but today was different. King Valtos had just passed away from a severe illness, leaving queen murias to rule alone. Everyone else was at the King's funeral, but he didn't feel like going. Funerals had never exactly been his cup of tea. Sipping down the last of his drink, Gabriel stood and exited the place.

 

as soon as Gabriel left his home, blazer crashed right into him. as they fell blazer called out "WATCH WHERE YOUR OPENING DOORS WHY DON'T CA!" then with a stupid look on his face, he realized he just plowed into Gabriel. then he said "sorry i am just in a bit of a hurry! do you know where i can get some genzuh leaves! i need them! my grandfather was just attacked by a cobra and is fading fast!"

 

Gabriel crashed to the ground as Blazer ran into him. His anger faded as he mentioned a dying grandfather. "What?!" He exclaimed. "Come on the herb shop should have some!" He said, hopping to his feet

 

Felis was also heading to the herb shop becuase he had a massive cut in his left shoulder, he was never the greatest chef...

 

"hurry! he has been infected with the poison for 20 minutes...any longer and he will..." Then blazer suddenly flys in the air as someone says "oops" in an unapologetic voice

 

"First stop, the tavern." Allen said making his way through his hometown. This wasn't exactly the place he was expecting to find, but it was alot better than wandering around. It wasn't long before his bandaged arm started to hurt again. Great, this is what I get for being careless. Now,where is that herb shop at. He thought, hopping to run into someone that was also heading in that direction.

 

Well then we don't have any time to waste, do we?" Gabriel said as he hurried off to the herb shop.

 

Once Allen saw Gabriel and Blazer heading off in a hurry, he assumed that they were heading for the herb shop. "It's probably my best chance at finding it." He said as he followed behind them.

 

Lucifer sat in a pub, setting his chair back upon two legs with his legs on the table, crossed. He was reading a book, not at all bothered by the many sickly-sweet scents. Alcohol, plain tobacco, flavored tobacco, opium of various flavors... the aroma set the mood of the pub on its own. Those who were in the pub were bad people. Troublesome people. They were the sort of people who would find any excuse to fight someone. Lucifer, however, was in there solely to change his setting. He didn't have a home, nor did he want one. Though, he found it ironic that he found comfort in the very thing that caused him so much pain. He ignored the memories, dwelling further into his book. It was about the many philosophies throughout modern day and history, and how they all had a similar goal with similar ideologies. Some of the information within the book was without evidence, ergo being built upon speculation after speculation of base analytical study of philosophy alone. Lucifer scoffed at the book more than once, finding a flaw or two in the circular logic of the author, but he kept to himself.

 

Gabriel reached the herb shop a few minutes later. "We need some genzuh leaves!" He said hurriedly.

 

sadly the herb shop owner said he had already sold all of his genzuh leaves to a man is a dark black coat. but he said he had something better in the back. as they followed him to his basement, they were saw a red orb. the shop owner said that the orb held great powers, but only to the one who could pick it up could use. confused Gabriel said "what do you mean!? the thing looks like a baby could pick it up..." but as he reached for it he yelled "ARRRG" showing us his hand had been burned. "See what i mean?!" Gabriel then said to blazer "The thing is hot yet cold... i don't know if you can, but try, your the only one how could try now...if i couldent handle it, then your the only one who can..." and with that blazer reached out and grabbed it. as if it were nothing saying "what do you mean Gabriel..."

 

Felis finally reached the herb shop and noticed to people frantically searching for something.

 

"Well, do you have anything for a injured arm?" Allen asked as he entered to he store. By the sounds of things whoever had beaten him there was in a hurry but had no luck finding what ever they needed.

 

the old shopkeeper then says "...so you are the one chosen for this ark...use its ability wisely..." then he just faded away like a ghost. then the old shop began to crumble and blazer yelled "We have to get out this place is crumbling and I'm sure if we don't were dead!"

 

Ooc: would you mind not controlling other people's characters?
Gabriel looked around, The shop was crumbling fast. "What's going on?!" Gabriel asked to no one in particular. The old man mentioned an ark, dis that mean blazer was a knight? Either way, he had to do something. The basement was a long way below the surface and the might not make it out in time. Clutching his amulet, he said the incantation "Rienzel, wise Arcadia, keeper of the ancient lore, Grant me your power!" With that, a bright flash of light emanated from his amulet, blurring him from the vision of all in the room. When the light cleared, an enormous suit of armor took up nearly the whole room. He placed his palm on the ground and a glowing blue barrier ensued the duo. They could escape after it crumled.

 

OOC: Going out on a limb and say we just run out of the shop.

"Nevermind." Allen said as the shop started to crumble. Without giving it any second thought, he ran out of the building.

"BUT GABRIEL: WE CANT ESCAPE IF YOUR SHIELD IS UP!" then blazer looked at the fire ball in his hand and said the following incantation: the god who lent me thees powers, give me the soul and body required to win any fight! and he began to transform but as soon as this happened it was over both Gabriel and Blazer back in there normal forms

 

"Wha- what happened?! Gabriel said, stunned that he was now in his human form. I could have expanded it and broken through the rubble! My barriers aren't strong enough to hold this back in my human form! He shouted. With a last ditch effort to escape, He made a break for the exit.
