Was sorting through old cupboards in my room and found a folder of stuff I did when I was younger. I wrote this when I was 11 :'D

    Sleep

    That soft
    Feel of pillow
    And smooth
    Touch of quilt
    Help your
    Cold tired feet
    And worn
    Head gently lilt.

    Oh, sweet Lily
    You've a subtle scent
    A beautiful gracefulness
    As you begin your descent
    From Heaven to Earth
    Your white petals a dress
    Fall gently from the skies
    Your aim none can guess
    It's barely been a year
Since they took you from me
Since they gave you the angel wings
    To set you free
    Oh, sweet Lily
    The flower of my heart
    Oh, sweet daughter
'Twas death that made us part.

Beautiful poems. There's some creepiness here and there. But hey, mixture of emotions make poems great.

My favorite is Pillow. Pillow is all comfy and short. Like those kind of poems. Keep up the good work! :D

    They say you were buried
In a dress of deep red
    Roses and vines
    Curled on your death bed
    A blessing, some would say
    A tribute, to that beauty
    Simple to forget that roses
Have thorns to tear your vanity.

Yeah, I know beauty and vanity don't really rhyme :v

Your lips graze the spoon again
And hint at traits of Gluttony
You gaze into a mirror hourly
    Craving perfection with your Vanity
A beautiful lady meets your eyes
And you're green, Envious with need
A mass of gold ensnares your neck
But not enough for viscious Greed
And yet you choose to lounge around
    Idle, Sloth, you linger
    But inside a darkening Wrath
    Beckon demons with your finger
But no sin of yours could be worse
Than the look upon your eyes
    When deadly Lust tangles sense
    And all innocence has died.

It's been about ten minutes now
I'm lying bathing in the glow
    Of a crescent moon
    And all around
surrounds a growing mass of snow
    You left me kiss-less
    Confirmed my doubts
And now I haven't the heart to leave
    My bed of ice
    It feels so nice
To slowly feel my nerves turn numb
    The sky above is undecided
Half clear and clouded as if divided
    Like my mind
    Oh! I see stars now
Between the flurries of white that fall
    And tickle my skin
    From heaven, a chilly call
    "Where are you?" I whisper
    But only to wince
And feel my lips start to curl and blister
Perhaps this is my end, here in the snow
    Bathing silently in moon-glow.

    Who am I, you ask?
You shall yet fear to know
I am the phobia of many, of all
The ashes that fall like snow

I am the fire, the pain, the anger
    The sun that rises red
I am the sorrow, the sadness, the sinister
    Monster under your bed

I am the hunger, the greed, the master
You are the pawns of my board
    I am the absolute devastation
But you can call me your Lord

I am the phobia of many, of all
The ashes that fall like snow
I am the voice that whispers to you
And croons "it's time to go."

You've developed a strong vocabulary. That is magnificent. I like your poems, and it seems like you've taken a huge step in improvement. I'd just look out for the rhyme, it feels too similar. Would be good to experiment a bit more.

    Hand in hand we walked
Beneath the willows and the moon
    Under vine and creeping rose
Soft grass set between our toes
    Hand in hand we walked
    United by our careful flesh
    Warm despite the falling snows
And flurries from the charcoal sky
    Hand in hand we walked
Hand in hand we walked to die

I wrote two poems on a whim today, but I'm not particularly sure that I like either of them. :l

We watched them from the prow
Curved dorsal fins embracing the Atlantic
In pairs, or threes, or more
They swam in leaps, in bounds, with sounds
    Of glee and happiness.
    The click-click of shutters
Broke the harmony of sky and sea.
    A mass of eager tourists
    Rushed to starboard
    In their own glee
    And received a diamond splashback.
No, they didn't get their money back.
    The dolphins did depart, though
As the sun had played her part
And was turning the water to liquid fire.

    With solemn eyes I gaze
    Upon the moon
    O she doth hang
Like a silver sickle in the sky
    Suspended by twilight
    And greeted by
    A blaze of curious stars
    Rebel diamonds from the sun
They dance across the velvet night
    A waltz, a tap, a samba
    A ballet burning bright

yeah the first one was my attempt at being playful.
