Which would you like to see in english the most....

i'm starting a new project by translating a game into english. by that i mean not by telling you what it says but by replacing the japanese text in the game and replacing it with english. you can play the game in english by burning it onto a blank DVD. i've barely started on KH2 final mix but i would like a better opinion from you guys

1) i can continue KH2 final mix
or
2) i can start on the ever popular tales of the abyss

Definitely KH2:FM+

Tales of the Abyss will most likely be translated later overseas while Final Mix will never be in English for everyone outside of Japan.

When I replace the text it effect the elf file of the game so yes I can, but because of the amount of lines the code would be and the fact that cheat devices can only enter around 50 lines of codes uncondenced no i can't since the code would not enter correctly into the game.

 

couldnt you break up the code

 

No the code would still be over 50 lines and it won't enter

That's why the only way to enter it is to mod the elf and reburn the game

I won't post up a modded iso for obvious reasons

What I'll do is give you all a patch and a program
1) you put FM's original iso on your computer
2) you load the patch into the iso with the program I will give you
3) you burn it on a DVD

That's it =P

And btw these types of projects arn't the thing I can make in a week. They take quite a bit of time to translate 100% of the text not to mention its only me working on it. But I will upload a beta patch as I get deeper into the project

 

you tell me what your using to inject the english text, and i ca- WAIT!!! gamezelda/othe modders from scorehero could make a progqam to help us. i can help too. ive modded games before. im on my psp btw

 

i need FM then,

instead of translating the whole thing you can cut out some japanese vids and replace with vids from kh2

i know a few hackers that may help too, but all they hack is gcn

 

Gamecube and playstation 2 are completely different. They have different programming so that whole scene is useless to this

 

I know, but the guy i knows can hack both systems (the guy is jay007 from arcentral)
