Chain of Memories Which Vexen death was better?

You amuse me. And it isn't true or not true, is simply opinion. Deal.

 

I'll say the CoM version. I like the orginal better than the other deaths.

 

i know the vexen fangirls are going to hate me for this but,i kinda like the sound of all three deaths,but i'll go wiht GBA,cause that is like the knife in the back

 

Definately. I can't remember what it looked like CoM, but I remember thinking that Re:CoM was so much more satisfying. Plus, you get to hear Vexen's squeaky freak out, which is always a plus.

Ooh, the manga version sounds cool...now I wanna go look that up.

 

I like the Re:CoM death scene... Axel made killing Vexen look so easily! I mean he just snapped his fingers and BOOSH! He's on fire! (Sorry... one of those rare evil moments.... Lol!) It makes Axel look like a really cool Organization XIII member.

 

i liked the GBA version of the death better. cuz it was just cooler because it was short and sweet. also it LOOKED like Axel cut off his head or something. but i didn't think it looked cool when Axel snapped his finger to set Vexen on fire. i mean since when can Axel set ppl on fire by snapping his finger?

 

That kind of makes no sense... of course he could set someone on fire by snapping his finger. The guy can just move his hands and things ignite around him. The power isn't really from his 'motions' as well as it is the concentration and he was just showing off with the finger snap, most likely. All of the Organization members' powers seemed to be through concentration of mind and the effects were pretty spontaneous. Gestures are just for added spice or when they are really concentrating and straining to do massive things.

 

If I remember correctly, it was jsut for show like Repliku said. If you played FF10 then you would notice that when Shiva went and used her overdrive, she used a snapping finger gesture. It is really just to show off is what I think XD​

 

I think the Re: CoM version was the best because it was better in graphics and hilarious... ity.

I liked the RE:COM version, cos Axel made the job seem so easy, and it makes him look more evil than Saix :D

 

I prefer the original CoM version....I don't know why its just that its longer than in Re:CoM and for me its more intense....

 

I liked it when he bursted into flame...It was awesome.

Him not able to do it is not the problem.

It just spurts the question that if he could do it with Vexen, why not do it to any opponent he faces? Seriously, if he could snap his fingers and set someone on fire, why go to all the trouble of summoning a weapon and fighting? Instead of attacking Diz with his chakrams back in KH2, why not just snap and fire? If you can do it before, why not after?

Even with Vexen being quite weak at that moment, it still doesn't change the fact that he could do that attack.

 

I am not that certain of this but didn't Axel hit Vexen with his chakram before setting him on fire?
It is my belief that the chakram Axel threw at Vexen didn't return to Axel but infact went into Vexen and when Axel clicked his fingers he released the fire on the chakram onto Vexen thus killing him.
Well anyway the way he died in ReCom is the better way in my opinion

 

I think the reason Axel could kill Vexen by snapping his fingers is because Vexen had the ice element, so Vexen was really weak against fire.
