Which one was more difficult?

Hmm..well some things in KH2 were more difficult. I'd say Xemnas in the final fight was more difficult than Ansem was in KH. I did both games on Proud Mode and to me, they were about equal though I think because KH is slower and the hidden bosses were more difficult, and you had no Reaction Commands, I'd say KH was a bit more difficult excluding the final boss.

 

I keep saying the hidden bosses were the only hard part of KH1!

The only reason we dont think KH2 is harder because it only had 1 tough hidden boss, Sephiroth.

If it had 3 like KH1, we would think different.

 

KH1 was a lot harder than KH2

 

kh1 was way harder than kh2.i actually got kh1 a week or two before kh2 was released.and when i got kh2 i wasnt finished with the first one:poketoungeb:and when i finish kh2 i wasnt done with the first one:D

 

Maybe you guys forgot about the Hades Paradox cup...

It makes the KH1 Hades Cup, Golden Match, Platinum Match, Kurt Ziza, and Phantom combined look like a warm up match.

 

Kingdom Hearts was way harder for me than Kingdom Hearts 2

 

Gameplay-wise, I found KH1 harder, because I couldn't accomplish what I wanted to immediately, but storywise I thought KH2 was harder, in terms of figuring things out.

 

I played through KH1 on expert, I dont remember it being that hard.

I like the way my friend described it... "Jump at them, mash X till your fingers get tired... then hold down circle to float around for a bit to rest up your thumb... then jump at them and start mashin X again. Oh! And dont forget to cast cure every once in a while!"

 

This mashing of X became COMPLETELY useless in battles such as Riku II, Ursula and Maleficent Dragon. Mashing X = you get slaughtered.

That was the tactic he used. It worked like 80 of the time. Case in point, look at the Rock Titan battle! All you need to do is jump when he lifts his foot! It also worked on Ansems final form.


My tactic was a little more advanced. I usually just floated around, let the opponent miss a move, go in, give him 1 combo worth of damage, back off again.

It worked against Dark Riku, Malificent, Kurt Ziza, Ursula second form, and yes, even the Almighty Sephiroth loses to the floating Sora turtle.

And dont tell me, "Oh that would never work!" I beat Sephiroth, Phantom, Kurt Ziza, Chernabog, All 3 Ansems, without Summoning or Ultima Weapon, on Expert for the first time, and only died on Sephiroth, Phantom and Ziza.

Yeah, I know you cant summon on Sephiroth and Ansem 2nd form.

The combat system was too simple. All you really needed was MP rage, and cure, and you could heal youself faster than your opponent could deal damage.

The only times it doesnt work is:
1. Sephiroth because he deals too much damage too quickly, example: Sin Harvester, followed by teleport slash...
2. Kurt Ziza because he locks you magic, half the fight
3. Phantom because that projectile move he has is a 1 hit KO if hes got a lot of damage on him.

Whereas, in KH2, there were plenty of challenging bosses. Dont believe me? Try to beat Sephiroth, and then the Hades Paradox cup... Then back to KH1, and take on the KH1 Hades cup and Sephiroth.

I still haven't beaten it on standard mode. I already beat KH II on proud mode.

 

KH1 all the way. I believe that alot of people had problems with Riku/Ansem at first. Not to mention beating the optional bosses :p

 

I found KH 1 much more difficult. I was stuck on Cerberus for a very long time, and both fights with Ursula, and Riku 2 in Hollow Bastion, and Chernabog, and that huge Dragon thingy, and Ansem 2 (the one after Darkside). And then there's Sephy, and Phantom, and Kurt Ziza... So yeah... KH 1 was hard! ... Although I was only ten at the time!

In KH 2 i died a couple times against Demyx, Xaldin and Xigbar... But only once or twice.

 

Hmmm, it depends on the way you fight.

If you can't resist mashing, you probably found KH1 harder, because the bosses didn't put up with it. You go over 4 or 5 hits, you get countered and it's over. All KH bosses take are a little practice and patience, I can beat Terra without getting hit once now.

 

Totally KH1 was harder. I mean it takes forever just to get to one world. And there were alot more bosses and things you had to do in the game.
