Kingdom Hearts Which is the best?

I always pick the sword and give up the staff, barely use magic anyway.

 

I would always choose the sword and give up the staff. I hardly use magic unless it was cure or maybe gravity. ​

 

I chose the sword and gave up the shield, I just thought the sword was awesome XD

Anyway, if you want to start the game with quite a balanced character, pick the staff and ditch the sword.

 

I usually pick the shield and lose the staff, or sword. I'm not fond of strength sometimes. It makes fights too easy at times.

 

When i first played it i didn't know what to choose either, but seeing the stafff and what it's described as, i chose it. i always loved disney magical stuff and having the "power of mystic" was a lot more appealing than some sword or sheild. Just look at my username :D

 

I chose the shield when I first played through it because I thought "yes, I'll protect my friends with it," and that just became habit. I usually give up the sword.

I always picked the staff and gave up the sword until I started Expert Mode and did the opposite, and boy, did I regret it. I'm one of those people who spams cure instead of items, and not having enough MP to do that drove me insane the entire playthrough on Expert Mode. NEVER AGAIN.

So yeah, I say the best to choose is the staff and best to give up is the sword. Nice and balanced, and you don't run out of MP as quickly when you need to use Cure...
