Re:CoM better than CoM?

I've been wondering if Re:CoM is anybetter than the GBA version. Is it easier to mauver than in CoM and do the controls work differently? Also, are there any new things added?

 

i really havent played RE:CoM but i would think that its better only cuz its all better graphics than CoM
and there people talking

i havnt felt like start it yet but it seems more cards some cards from final mix al lthe org XIII cards and more sleights

 

I found the GBA version more intense than what I've seen from Re:CoM cutscenes..

 

I liked the GBA version of CoM. Now, graphic wise re:CoM Wins. Actually re:CoM overrules GBA:CoM. Of course with out GBA:CoM, we wouldn'y have the sprites sheets some need to create animations, Comicstrips, and other stuff.

So, they're both good in their own way.

 

I have not played RECOM, but I would only like it for the cutscenes. I have no wish to play the battle system, I am happy with the system in COM. I love that game...

 

Personally, I prefer Re:CoM... the original IS very good, but I HATE the Dodge Roll/Side Jump control... Maybe it was just me, but half the time, it just didn't work... Re:CoM's version is infinitely better, plus it just isn't the same looking at 2d attacks compared to 3d... and I love Lethal Frame (a new sleight added to Re:CoM, gained at Level 32)... Sora stopping and repeatedly slicing an opponent = awesome lol

But I digress, the better version (in my opinion, anyway) is Re:CoM... new sleights for both characters, new cards... I could keep going, but I won't lol

 

I like both games Re:CoM and CoM.
But the thing that troubled me was the story...I played the games just for the storylines...
But the updated Re:CoM battle system was good than the GBA version.
But yeah what 'Hexin' said that CoM gave us the sprites and all of that....

 

I personally like Re: Chain of Memories because you can actually hear what the characters sound like than in the gameboy advance version of the game.

 

I like both
I like COM (gba) because I can take it any were and it has unlimited cards space.
I like Re:com because of va, gf, more cards, it easier to dodge enemys etc.

 

Now, while I have not played Re:CoM, I have seen the entire game played through on Youtube, and I do (or did) own the original (I gave it to my little brother for christmas). I personally would prefer the remake, simply for it's larger screen and better graphics (not to mention the fact that you can get clips of it for AMVs), although Riku's story seemed WAY too easy in the remake.

There is one thing, though, that makes the GBA version slightly better - an emulator. (Yes, I have a GBA emulator, but CoM is the only game I have for it, and I paid for the physical copy before giving it away). The larger screen size alone helps tremendously, and I can speed up the game slightly to make it more action-packed and speed up my attacks.

But I'm still gonna vote Re:CoM. The english version, of course.

 

well ive never played it one GBA but im sure that Re:com is better

 

Re:COM is so much better in my case.It's 3D,voice acting,theater,good battle system.And I never liked the GBA version anyway.

RE: Chain Of Memories.
Reason: Quite simple. I believe they are both good games but Re: COM has better graphics in my opinion, some voiced scences, and playing it on a PS2 and on larger screen adds some bonus fun in my opinion.

 

I personally think plain ol' Chain of Memories is better. Don't get me wrong, have voices in RE: CoM was great, but I think it's the only good thing about it.
