Which is better: Anime or manga?

Some anime are adapted from the manga, so in your point of view, which do you think usually does better - the manga, or the anime?

 

i've seen more animes than mangas so, animes.

 

Well, the manga usually has things you would'nt see in the anime, but really, who wants to have to go and pay for a new one every month or so?.......I would, but the bookstore's very far from my house.

A good argument. Maybe not to some others, but to me, yuss.

Anime's pros:
Don't have to pay for it when it airs on t.v.
Don't have to read it, but you can watch it n listen n stuffz.

Anime's cons:
It's attacked by Editzilla and kills characters n stuff.

Manga's pros:
You get to keep it forever!!
Reading is fundamental. 8D
They show all/better stuff.

Manga's cons:
I don't know about you, but for me, manga is expensive. ;__;

I dont read much manga but i must say the FMA manga pwns the anime.

 

well they both have their pros and cons. i personally, more than not, like the manga art better. still, anime is cheaper and you dont have to read it. still, i think i prefer manga.

 

I read the Naruto manga (every single book) and compared it to the anime (I watched every single episode) and I thought that the anime was better, because I don't like reading and because the stryline was a bit more detailed, but that's my opinion.

 

Meh I watch anime more. But if I had a choice I'd pick Manga because school gets boring a LOT.

You can say I prefer both equally but I still do like manga a little more just because it's easier for me to make the perfect VO in my head while I read.

 

I like the mangas better. They're easier to pick up and get into as opposed to anime where you have to find a screen to sit in front of in order to enjoy it. Nothing against anime though, I just have a difficulty finding a time and place to watch them.

 

I personally prefer anime.

What you just said but my Anime's cons is that they don't all come to the UK so you have to buy them if you wanna see them or look for them on the internet. And my Manga's con you don't know what they sound like if you've never seen the Anime or there is no Anime yet, also for me manga isn't expensive £6.99 for one vol isn't that bad when you think about how muchother books coast. So all in all I like them both the same.

It depends i like the Inuyasha anime and manga

there is some anime that ruin the manga like Tokyo Mew Mew that was good until the show came up and the manga has stuff that cannot be removed and it can be more gory and have more nudity and they are alot more original so i like manga

 

It seems most people enjoy the manga more, because it has more content as the anime removes some, although it seems some people enjoy the anime more just because they' never read the manga. O_o Well, all I know is that I like the manga more because of the same reason most everyone else said - the anime removes certain content and the manga usually has more story, etc. Although so far, Magic Knight Rayearth is like the only manga (that I know) totally different from the anime, the latter having more than its manga counterpart!

Me too. lol Is it because the anime usually deletes things and the manga usually has more of a deeper story?

 

It depends...some I prefer manga over anime...

 

I like manga a lot, but with some I prefer the anime, example Bleach - fighting scenes, because in the manga it's good but in the anime i like it better because I actually see in action what I read in the manga.
But that's just my opinion.
