    Who here's watched Indiana Jones, any of the movies, at all?! Please. I'd like to discuss them. Now, I enjoy the Third movie, and I realized that most of them are based off of religion... But that's my prediction. So. Which movie do you like the best of Indiana Jones?

    i liked the one where they were like "cover your heart!" and they brainwashed someone and fire was the only thing that could break the spell.

    Favorite is a tie with Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Last Crusade.

    As with all trilogies, the second movie was a big let down for me in the sense that Indy, being an archeologist, had no reason to get mixed up in a religious and spiritual trial like he did. I can understand him being forced into the situation with Lou Sha, but the story was a stretch and Lucas even admitted that it was thrown together during his divorce and he felt the story suffered because of it.

    Raiders is vintage. It set the series and gave us a reason to want to watch more.

    Crusade brought together a stellar cast and tied up the story of Indiana Jones nicely, albeit cliche with them riding off into the sunset.

    HAVING SAID THIS, I'm defending Indy 4. Here are my reasons:

    • Nastalgia. I've always wanted to see more of Indy ever since i was a little kid, the same with Star Wars. It's not often that the director, writer, and star want to make another movie ten plus years later.
    • The science fiction element. What else was going on in that time frame? WW2 is over, and the Soviet Union isn't attacking the US, why would Indy be on the hunt for missing treasure in the USSR. Science fiction was coming to life and Lucas made a good choice in tying it into the Indy storyline. You all may say what fives it was stupid no one would believe that aliens built El Dorado. People believe that the pyramids were built by aliens, what if Indy was sent to Egypt? Would we be arguing the point as well?
    • I liked it
    • Sue me.

    I only watched the 1st one and the most recent one (last one they ever make). Raiders of the Lost Ark was told to be the only goodone. I guess the rest of them sucked.

    Heh. I watched the crystal skull one (lol forgotten the name) and it was pretty good, I actually enjoyed it until the suckish ending >.>

    I haven't watched any of the others all the way through, but I doubt something as sucessful as they were could've been THAT bad.

    The one where their faces melt. For that reason and that reason only. I giggle like a 2 year old at that part.
    That's Raiders of the Lost Arch, methinks.

    I liked all of the movies though the last one was kind of weird. Though the effects were awesome.

    If anyone says the 4th is their favourite I will shoot them >___>

    I love the Indiana Jones series D: they are some of my favourite films.

    My favourite is The Last Crusade <3 that film is perfect.

    These films are stunning D: the mix of mythology with science and fact. Comedy, drama, romance :] plus he is an archaeologist ^_^ so automatically gets cool points.

    Temple Of Doom, I can actually see how he ended up mixed up in religion and spiritualism, archaeology can take you in some weird directions at times xD;

    Though that being said, it was the dullest of the three. Raiders of the Lost Ark is good, but I remember it scared me when I was tiny xD;

    Actually, I liked all of 'em.

    Mostly the third movie, "The Last Crusade".

    The fourth movie was good but the ending wasn't.

    The ending of the fourth one was incredibly and extremely random.

    Raiders ofthe Lost Ark is the only one I remember, where they open the thing and the guy's face melts. So yah, I like Indiana Jones :D

    Last Crusade is my fav too. I NEVER get tired of when Indy and his father are on the blitz thingy and the German officer checks the passangers, finds the father hiding behind a newspaper... and gets thrown out of the blitz by Indy who had pretended to be a ticket collector. X3

    I don't really hate any of the movies, not even the last one, even if the ending was "whoa thar", I agree with Shades' opinion on it. Watching the bonus material for each movie if very fun too, melting head trick yay! So, I love them all, but I love the 3rd one the most.

    I liked the second one...the fourth one was way too weird. With all the aliens and stuff, it wasn't really much of a good Jones movie.

    I liked the last movie, but I didn't quite understand the plot of the 13 thrones and the alien at the end? That was a far fetched and I hated the parts with the vicious ants. They made my skin crawl.

    I really liked the first one, and the fourth one. The second one sucked, and the third one was okay. Yeah, they do seem to be all based on some sort of religious history. The fourth one-Aliens, anceint wall drawings, crystal skulls
    The third one-the Holy Grail
    The second and the first one confuse me, xD. Still, I think the first or fourth one was the best.

    I don't remember much 'bout the first one. Haven't seen it in such a long time... The second one was pretty good.
