Spirits Within was dissapointing... and WAY overhyped.

Advent Children, hands down.

Spirits Within was an original storyline that had no relation to any Final Fantasy whatsoever. There were no Moogles or Chocobos. It was a disgrace. :nono:

FF7:AC, however, at least you knew who everyone was. No one had to be introduced. If you've played the game, you know EXACTLY what's going on. And seeing Limit Breaks in high-definition CGI made it worth the watch. :)

 

Advent Children was the only one I saw, but it was good.

 

You realise there is only two movies that have the title; Final Fantasy?

...just checking.

Anyway, FF7:AC. Story was weak but graphics were fantastic and it was worth getting the DVD to see Cloud kick arse.

 

The only correct answer is "Spirits Within"

 

To be honest both of these movies were made at different time periods with different levels of technology. Obviously FFVII AC looks far superior but... I love both of them. SW was great when I was a kid and was obsessed with FFIX. But AC was.... just plain awesome.

 

I've only watched Advent Children so...=/

 

I was too young to see PG-13 movies when Spirits Within came out...I thought the plotline was weird anyway, so, yeah, I liked AC better. Besides, those fights were awesome to watch...I was also freaked out by the Spirits Within Michael Jackson thriller thing...:nono:

 

I prefered Advent just because of how strung together the spirit within seemed to me. Plus, with the advancements in technology, Advent capitalized on it and soared to the FF fan base.

On a side note, I want the RE CGI movie out now.

The plot of Spirits Within was a little confusing( I was just a kid back then so I really didn't understand the plot)

 

IMO Both are pretty boring, but if I have to chose... Advent Children.

 

I didn't even really like Spirts Within. But I loved Advent Children. One of my favorite movies of all time. I loved the fight scenes, and Kadaj is by far one of the coolest characters in a movie/video game ever.
